2-Pack 304 Stainless Steel 6'(15cm) Security Latch - Double & French Door Slide Bolt Lock, Brushed Finish

I bought this latch just because the picture looked much better than the latch I purchased from another vendor. The "other" latch was flimsy and worthless. I returned it. This V-CORME latch is NICE! I installed it in the top of a French door. They look well made. Operate smoothly. Match the rest of the door hardware finish. Very pleased.

Installed these on a door and they work great. Very well make latch but I had to use longer screws to mount the upper and lower doo stops but that was not a fault of the part just the application. Recommended!

Took 3weeks to get it. Contacted seller and was told it is coming from China and they ran out of stock. Wish they would have told me that so I wouldn’t think it was lost. Anyway, once received, It was to replace a rusted latch. I wanted SS due to salt air on the coast. Install was easy but had to lengthen the opening and build up the depth slightly with a popsicle stick. Filled space up with chaulking, looked and worked great. Item is very well made, instructions for new install. Recommended item.

The product is well built and solid. Unfortunately, I had to return it not due to any defect in the product, but that I picked the wrong size. Although, I am not keeping this, it is still very well made and I would recommend. Just make sure you order the correct size.

Great product. It works well. I wanted to have a roller stop for daily use and this latch for security. For that reason, I installed the roller latch closest to the "latch" side of the door and the security door bolt just to the hinge side of the roller latch. The door wasn't solid core, so I had to rebuild the door to accept the latch.

This flush slide bolt works as intended. Design and construction is similar to many others and the price is right. Quality is so-so. The lever mechanism got damaged during installation because the hole I drilled for the striker plate was too tight. It could not withstand friction. I was able to fix it but also realized how flimsy the mechanism is. Also, the heads of two of the screws supplied broke, leaving the threaded part in the wood. They are low-quality. I suggest that you use your own screws.

I installed this on a Mastercraft sliding patio door from Menard’s and am really happy with the quality. The lock is a nice feature to have on the door because kids can easily learn how to unlock the handleset, but this is out of reach (and bonus: it looks dang classy) The lever flips from top to bottom, so it’s flush in both positions. I didn’t see reviews detailing how this worked so I thought it was worth noting. I also added a picture of the back of the unit so you can see how it’s made. From the product photos, it almost looks like a solid block - it’s not, but it’s very sturdy and I’ll be buying more for other doors in the house. The most time consuming part was mortising the door, but I took my time with a chisel and a dremel tool and it worked out great.

Good, positive lock for my French doors. Installation is more complicated. Not a standard DIY project. But, good strong locks that align the doors perfectly.

Replacement locks for the wooden bifold doors on the mancave. So much better than the original ones that came with the shed. Easy to fit even for an amateur DIYer!

Bought this for our double doors into our kitchen, the old sort we had, had given up the ghost. this was simple to fix in , does the job perfectly, nice & snug. would recommend.

Got these for a job work ok fair price

We replaced our double doors to the utility cupboard. The right hand one has the handle to open and the left hand door had a small turnable knob at the top which did not look great. This piece of kit avoids any unsightly exterior knobs and looks great. It's very sturdy too.
