Hard, but fun MMORPG
This game is not for the impatient as it is very hard, but it's a lot of fun. I think comparing this to World of Warcraft is like comparing apples to oranges. It is a lot of fun if you set aside comparing it to other MMORPGs.As for the actual product itself, not a whole lot comes with it. It has step by step instructions on how to install it to your Xbox. You do have to create an account with Square-Enix's website so be ready to hop back and forth from the computer to Xbox for a bit. It's not difficult if you just follow the instructions. It also comes with some free equipment for your character, which the headpiece in game is AMAZING. Very helpful for brand new players. A couple things you must know are that you cannot install this on a 4 Gig Xbox unless you have a hard drive installed. It takes about 10 gigs of memory so make sure you have space. It also takes several hours to download, so just be patient.I'm very satisfied with this purchase and have already recruited 3 friends to purchase it. It's definitely a game you want your friends to play as the difficulty level does spike a bit after your first 20 levels. The product is simple (if you follow instructions), a lot of fun, and a great FF to add to the collection!

The adventure begins
I received this item 3 days earlier than the day it was supposed to arrive. This game is a steal when you consider that you are receiving a complete mmorpg with EVERY expansion pack plus 3 add-on scenarios and 3 battle arena add-ons. I started playing a couple nights ago and I just met a lot of really friendly folks online that were able to show me around and teach me the ways of playing the game. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend picking up a copy of this title.

New Players Heed My Warnings....
It's FFXI with all current expansions and add ons, If your considering picking this up you might want to take a few things into consideration before you buy. First thing is are you willing to pay the monthly fee to play this game? (take note that you do not have to have XBL Gold to play this game online). Second thing is that the learning curve is quite steep, almost to the fact where as if you never played a trail or never seen this played that you will most likely be lost within the first 10 minutes. Third thing is the setting up of your Square Enix account, this can be a VERY daunting task to say the least (consider looking up a walk through guide online to help you through this process... I'm dead serious). Fourth is Solo, solo, solo... you will find yourself alone (a lot), this can be somewhat boring and might in turn make you stop playing completely. If you have friends who told you to get this game and they in fact still play it, then go on and buy it (as long as they're going to help you in the learning curve factor).Pros: The game is still entertaining a fun (for a few months) as it ever was. Playing on the XBOX gives you a better form of communication to party members via party chat (pending the fact that they're on your friends list) then just using a keyboard. Controlling the game with a controller is much easier then the 1,500 key commands.Cons: The game is showing its age, this is quite obvious considering the fact that the game is over 12 years old, XBOX 360 can not handle some of the games aspects (i.e. Parties over 12 members, and Jeuno show huge drops in FPS). With the release of FFXIV: ARR don't expect to see that many players left on the servers.I don't think I would suggest this product anymore, with the fact that FFXIV is now out. If your looking to get a blast from the past then feel free to buy it.

I have played a lot of FFXI over the last 10 years and this is a good expansion.
The expansion itself is good. The perfectionist elitist attitude it has brought out from other people regarding the new content such as Skirmish and Delve on the other hand is a very hefty cause for my current disinterest in this game. This game really needs to go free to play with a cash shop and keep up with the times. The end game grindfest is about as bad as any other MMO out there. The job selection is nice. The graphics on the new areas is average. The 360 version of this game actually has better clipping then the PC version and looks better in my opinion as well. The extra ten bucks for two in game items was well worth it. The new jobs were a big disappointment to me. I'll probably end up going back to this game sometime in the next year, but not in the next few months. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

FF11 is the best game of all time.
This review is for the game not the seller to which it was bought from.If your contemplating on should you get an all in one disc for the 360, do it but make sure its the ultimate collection seekers disc as others will not install everything from start to end.As for the game itself well.. What can I say, it's had better graphics than any other MMO from its launch till FF14 came along, yes even better graphics than WoW. Don't believe me then see for yourself.Gameplay is more of a thing where you know what you like before you get into any game but from my view it's the best ever.If your considering this game as a gift, hopefully as PC version for a number of reasons I won't go into detail here, an hey xbox is good but nothing beats the PC only add ons (experts only for those), it's my advice you know a persons gaming style before getting them a game.Or hell what do I know? Skip all the advice an roll some dice like they do in game an see what happens =p
