better material and thicker then the rubber tires on other belts I looked into!
I like not having to use any adhesive to install them! As for 'ease of installation, ( not so easy) But the instruction say to soak the belts in hot water for a little while and try to install them while they are still warm and flexible! Well I did all that and it still was a fight to get them installed on the wheels of my band saw. But hey, taking the good and the bad, it is a very good product. and they fit perfectly on the 14" wheels of my band saw. If ever needed again, I would buy them in an instant!

Fit Jet JWBS-14CS Bandsaw
Some people commented that these tires were too wide for their bandsaw wheels. They fit fine on my Jet JWBS-14CS 14" bandsaw. The bandsaw wheels are curved instead of being flat so the tires are made to basically snap in on the sides of the wheel. They are (by design) a challenge to get on the wheels but I warmed them up next to a heater prior to installing and was able to stretch them onto the wheels. My rubber tires lasted 12 years before one broke, I expect these being urethane will last me a lifetime. Saw runs fine with new tires, no vibration or balance issues. They are a good value for two tires compared to some other ones I look at. Recommended.

Read this and installation will be easier
These are great, high-quality bandsaw tires - once you get them on your bandsaw wheels. Therein lies the rub. . For all practical purposes, these are delivered in a "baggie" with next-to-zero instructions other than the acknowledgement that they are "undersized" and might need to be soaked in "warm water." Say what??? . OK, from trial and error, here's how to do it: . 1. Put these tires in a plastic dish large enough to hold them both plus enough water to cover them. 2. Cook them in your microwave on HIGH through a series of 60 seconds cycles, repeated enough times (5 in my case) to get the water to near boil. 3. From here on, one person CAN do this, but extra hands will be welcome.... 4. Rush this pot of steaming tire-soup to your band saw, remove the first tire and stretch it as far as you can before shoehorning it onto your bandsaw wheel. Put some muscle in the stretching operation; you won't break it. 5. When the tire cools-in-place, it will shrink to a tight fit. 6. Repeat for the second tire quickly (before it and the soup cools). 7. Enjoy your success! . I expect these things to last much longer than the OEM rubber tires they are replacing. But I'll bet rubber tires would stretch much more easily - and be easier to install. . With a little more useful instruction (e.g., a link to an installation video), I'd give these tires all 5 stars.

Be prepared. Great product.
Installation is difficult. Soften it in boiling water (not warm water). Use your hand and foot to stretch it. Then be prepared to still apply significant force to install the tire on the wheel. I mostly installed it, put each palm on it and used my thumb to push it on. There is a lip on the wheel rim. I used a small screwdriver to get under it and then push it over the lip. You'll see. But my refurb is done. Works great again. Should have been done 10 years ago.

worked on central machinery bandsaw
Just received and installed on harbor frieghts bandsaw (i know, I know, replace the spring and it becomes a good bandsaw). The old tires dry rotted, and so I bought these to replaced. Replaced without any tools other than a couple of small spring clamps. yeah, it's tight, but it does go on. put the clamps about 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock to hold in place and press down on the tire at the bottom with one hand while working the tire into place with the other. I got them both on without removing the wheels. the join, where it was fused to make a circle looks a little iffy, but it seems to be working fine so far. made a few cuts, everything working good. so far, value to price ratio seems pretty high.

As the title suggests, follow the directions and boil these to soften them up enough to stretch. A 2nd set of hands will help get them on, l didnt have that option. They do have to fit tightly anyway but they fit and woek as intended.

Fitted these as a replacement tires my wheel was 14 1/4 " so a little bit tight . Followed a post on you tube by Tim B on fitting using a drill to stretch the tire as it is fitted no soaking in hot water or soap required. It worked for me took about 30 mins for both wheels. Look it up. As for the tires seem to be ok time will tell how durable they are.

Once properly warmed up the bands went on easily and once cool were very secure.

As part of a face-lift on my 14" Delta 28-274c, I put these new tires on. Granted, the old ones were in pretty bad shape, but now the bandsaw is quieter, better tracking, and less vibration just as advertised. I warmed them up in hot water and they went on fairly easily. I used a clamp, then worked it over the wheel with a pair of screwdrivers as you would a car tire onto a rim.
