Edit 2 —. The replacement that was purchased on 12-6-23 is now giving LD errors. Less than a year old.Edit — Bought this 4-2-21 and now 12-6-23 starting to go out. Getting same long drain errors. Going to have to replace again. Almost got two years out of it. Not great but not bad either. Gonna buy another one.Original post— It works perfect for our Maytag Bravos XL washer. We were getting a LD error (long drain) and there were times had to run the spin cycle twice due to not draining all the water. Eventually rhe washer quit draining all together. Bought this. Had the pump replaced quickly (3 screws and 2 wires) . Works as well as the original. As others have said it's noisy but who cares.

Our Maytag Bravo XL Washer was showing an LD error code, so we watched a ton of YouTube videos and searched the internet to find the solution. We thought something might be blocking the water filter below the drum (like others) and ended up taking the entire washer apart (use the car Jack and two by four trick to get the drum out safely—-might also need WD40 to loosen any rust in the middle). Turns out, nothing was blocking it, but we did end up thoroughly cleaning out every bit of built up dirt and mildew. Small victories!Long story short, we figured out that the water pump was rusted and couldn’t work properly anymore. We saved A LOT of money (at least $100 to $200) by buying this replacement piece and installing it ourselves into the bottom of our Maytag Bravo XL Washer. We were sure to reset the error code by putting it in diagnostic mode (consult the manual that comes hidden inside the washer—-it’s simple) before starting a cycle, and it worked perfectly. Just be sure that your water pressure isn’t too high otherwise water might overflow from the dispenser trays. Hope this helps!

It fixed the problem and working as it should. I had it installed 3 months now and still working. I recommend, it's pretty easy to replace.

Washer died and I feel like trash atm but a few clicks and I had a replacement part the next day. What a world we live in before ud have to find a repair shop or go to lowes and still likely wait a week

Drain pump failed after 4 months of working. It continues to try and pump water even after washing cycle has completed. Unable yo find any contact information for the company. Wouldn’t recommend.

My washer is about 8 years old, and started giving my a LD error code. I bought this pump as a direct replacement for the discharge pump on my Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum as I did not find and major obstructions. It is slightly different than the original as it does not have a cage around it (doesn't need one) and the impeller shroud is a little shorter, but they give you a different hose that is a little longer to make up the difference. It works great and fixed my issue. I only wish it hadn't gone bad during a Holiday weekend.

It's a great pump for the money! The old discharge pump in our washer died, this was a quick and easy direct replacement for it. Sad that the pump died in an 8 year old machine that was over $1,000 new, but this new pump saved the day, and has been working great ever since!

We were concerned when we first opened this pump as it looked different than the one we had but it did in fact work and hooked up easily.
