My son got this for his birthday and both of my kids (11 and 14) love it. It is sturdy and lots of fun. Great buy. Only complaint is the fog machine has (LOUD) sound effects, and that system broke within like 15 minutes. It runs on water but is not water-proofed well, so the wires shorted out immediately. As my son said, it was a poor design. We are just not using that feature, and my kids are perfectly happy with the go kart! I like that it is speed-limited by the hoverboard, so it feels safer than some other options.

This works great and is very sturdy and well built. My grandson has it outside every day if it’s not snowing or raining. The only negative is the fog blaster. It broke due to lack of support. They sent me a new one and swapped the part out for return. Got a metal plate to extend under it further. (This doesn’t affect the cart, just adds a coolness factor.

My son has had this for a year and it’s still going strong!! It’s sturdy and easy to use. He thinks it’s a lot of fun. The price point was great!

My kids love this thing. It's a spectacle when they ride down the sidewalk at our park with the music and lights and laser blasters going. We've had hours of fun on this and it is a must have for kids with hoverboards. Absolutely worth the money for the entertainment/fun factor alone. If you went to a go-kart track you'd spend this on two laps around a track - so the quality issues, while they are a bummer, aren't a deal breaker and I would still buy this again and will probably buy another one when this one gets too beat up. The seat is comfortable and the metal parts/hardware are heavy duty and work well. The wheels and velcro attachments suck, so it's interesting that parts or this are very high quality good design while others are very low quality and poorly designed. The velcro straps aren't a good design. They are not durable enough material and the way that they are sewn on causes them to easily catch on the ground. The stitching that holds the velcro onto the straps came unraveled in 2 of the 4 straps provided. We had to sew them back on. When riding, the straps scrape/drag on the ground at times, and the straps don't hold up to this and are ripping/tearing. The pads on the feet that sit on the hoverboard aren't flat, so it has caused some abrasions on the hoverboards. The jet engine attachment on the back is attached to the seat by a thin lever of metal, and it sticks out such that when the kids go fast and wheelie it smacks the ground. There should either be a mechanism to prevent wheelies altogether (no fun) or a better design so the jet pack doesn't stick out so much and essentially work as a lever that pushes on the ground when the unit wheelies up. It hasn't broken off yet, but it's only a matter of time. The wheels aren't holding up well, there are chunks coming out from going over rocks and debris. My kids are very small and young, the heaviest is 45 lbs, and my wife and I have never ridden it, so I'm surprised this is an issue and would warn others with larger/older kids.

The item came in used. It was also missing parts and was half assembled. The item was also missing critical bolts that are required for it to attach the main frame to the handles. It did not meet the specifications of the manual as the hardware was removed by whoever had it last. Very disappointed with the seller to be selling this unit as if it were new. I returned it with the option for amazon to replace the item and now the estimated delivery date is 30 days from now. 2 Attempts at getting this corrected by seller. I am a verified purchaser of this product. In November I ordered 2 (1 red and 1 blue) The red one came in perfectly. All of the pieces meets the specification as mentioned in the manual. The blue one as the pics will indicated, was missing a critical step in the manufacturing process. I asked for a replacement, estimated 30 days. So I opted in to get a black one delivered sooner. it arrived 1 day late even though amazon said it arrived on time. the black was had the same issue. The mounting and the velcro unit that should have been attached out of the box were not attached. The black foam padding which per the factory manual should have been there to be assembled by the user was already attached for some reason, and no additional hardware was provided to assemble the disassembled piece. So I ordered 1, red, 1 blue, and 2 replacements for the blue one, only the red one was good and the rest is considered defective out of the box. 25% for any manufacturer is not a good number to have. Feedback from using the only unit that worked. 1. Velcro is not a permanent solution. I hope the manufacturers will find a stronger mounting solution for the hoverboards to the unit. 2. Only the red one met the picture description. the blue and the black one all had the off-colored front wheel. The picture shows a black wheel on all units, the blue one and the black replacement unit, which came with a clear colored wheel that looked like it was lower quality. 3. The blue one was defective from the start and was missing parts. The black replacement that came in 1 day late for the blue one, not only came out of the box defective much like the blue one, but was also missing the hardware and the manual. Overall... All I can say is.... what the @#$#@$!

This is a great addition to a hoverboard. It fits perfectly and is easy to attach and take off. The lights and fog are a really cool effect. However, there is a bump in the middle of the seat that makes it really uncomfortable for my boys to sit on it for too long. Overall it is good quality and fun though.
