Tick for dogs removal
Does this work for other customers? I put a tick applications on my dog a week ago and I’m finding three or more full size ticks on her. This shouldn’t be normal , should it?

Fleas are bad this year
Unfortunately this year fleas are horrible. Not saying this product did not work, but didn’t for us. It was easy to apply. Don’t take my word for it because I’m in Oklahoma and our winter was not cold enough to eliminate the fleas

Pay attention to bad reviews
Here's the gist: My dog became immobile and was put through hellish pain. Yes, this is a normal poison we use on pets for fleas/ticks. Pay attention to your pet immediately after applying this garbage. Wash them immediately if something seems off. Do not ignore them. Long story: My 26lb,10 yo corgi got a bath, 2 days later, I put this Amazon Basics (23-44lb) liquid between his shoulder blades, squeezing out the liquid exactly where the directions stated. We've used Frontline for years, this is not a new concept. Was applied at night so he'd be all nice and dry before morning when he gets love and pets. The next morning, he started yelping in pain when we went down the steps, like he'd hurt his leg. This limping, then lethargy, and yelping grew, and I didn't know what happened. Acorn shell in the paw pad? Secretly tripped and got new hip pain he's never had before (but corgis are definitely prone to with age)? Three days pass, he's progressively worse. Morning of day 3, he can no longer stand up, can no longer walk. I can't pick him up because he yelps in pain. He lays there with bloodshot eyes, panting nonstop in my 74F house. His sides, his back, legs and paws are in pain. He would still eat, but he couldn't get up off of the floor, so I fed him from my hand. I'd already called the vet the night before, but they were closed. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what's different. Me, the idiot, didn't remember that this Amazon Basics liquid is NOT the same the Frontline he'd used for almost a decade. The vet calls back, I tell her I think I know what it is, and that another negative reviewer said they gave their dog a bath 30 min after application and it improved. She says to give him a bath immediately and see if it does anything. It had been 3 days on my dog, I had little hope. I gave him 2 long baths in Dawn dish soap, and about 6 hours later, he started standing again. 8 hours later, he was slowly walking again. No idea if this is a quality control problem, was this mis-dosed for a bigger dog? The active ingredient in this is the same as Frontline. I don't even know if this kills fleas or ticks. He was so lethargic he couldn't life his leg to scratch anything if his life depended on it. A week later, he was about back to normal. I will not be using this again, or giving it away. This is trash and a waste of money. Maybe you'll have better luck, but keep in mind the reviewers who put their pet's lives at risk to save money. Don't do it.

Good Alternative to Prescription
I have been using this flea and tick preventative for 2 months now and I am still unsure about it. I am an avid hiker and my dogs are outside all the time and even go to the barn with me. I notice my dogs getting ticks, but they aren't covered in them. From my experience, no matter what flea and tick preventative you use you will still deal with ticks, but this seems to compare very well to the expensive prescriptions. My border collie/assuie is on Simparica Trio and my lab/assuie/cattledog is on the Amazon Flea and Tick Preventative in addition to Interceptor. Between the products I've tried, I have never had a problem with fleas, heartworm, or stubborn ticks. I mostly pick the ticks off when I first see them, but if I don't know they are there, I find them dead later on. Neither of my dogs have reactions to this preventative so I think it is a very cost effective alternative to a prescription. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because it is so greasy for an extended amount of time on my wire haired boy and he likes to roll so it gets on my carpet and if we are outside he will roll and the solution will trap dirt/grime. I am just not a fan on topical treatments, so for that reason only I will not purchase again. However, I will say, my lab is always swimming and interactive with water, and the topical method seems to still stay active as long as you let it dry for at least 24 hours after application.

Good as leading Brands
Great value and works just as best as leading brands!

Not ideal for outside dogs.
I’m sure this stuff works just as good as name brands for dogs that spend the majority of their day inside. Our dog spends his day mostly outside and one week after the first dose it doesn’t seem to have done much to keep the fleas at bay. Makes me think we may have a flea problem in the yard. But for the price I was willing to give it a shot.

Works and is affordable
Great affordable option! We use it every month and have seen no adverse reactions (or fleas/ticks). Great results!

APPLY OUTDOORS!!! FLEAS WILL START JUMPING SHIP INSTANTLY!
I just picked up a rescue case, so ofc she was flea infested. I made the mistake of applying this on her inside my house on my carpet😭. When i put it on, fleas started jumping out INSTANTLY. I was so disgusted😭😭😭. It definitely does something, thats for sure! I followed the instructions and applied a few dots on her skin down her spine. I am not sure how it is supposed to get to other parts, but i will just trust the process. I hope it will continue to kill them.
