Way better than cheaper pumps
You can just tell by the weight; this pump is much more solid than others in the $20-30 range. I use the one I bought to pump water that would flood my garage from water coming down from the sloped driveway. I hooked it up to a12v battery and keep that on a charger. A total game changer. It’s been 3 months and and a fee rain storms with leaves and funk entering the pump. Still no problems.

Auto switch won't reliably turn off.
Good strong pump, but automatic switch does not alwys turn off after bilge is emptied.

Nice replacement to my old Rule pump that packed it in. I especially like the sealed Optima switch.

Auto shut off problem.
Directions on a vary small pice of paper. Could not get to auto shut off. Called support but I still could not get it to auto sit off. Bought a Rule.

Pump Does not work as advertised and I get no support from either supplier or manufacturer
I purchased this pump and installed it. It comes with a switch. The pump does not shut of after it empties the bilge and I have been waiting for a replacement for months for a replacement from the manufacturer . I guess I am going to have to buy a replacementIt is now 70 days since I was promised a replacement and 17 days since they ignored my last email and my pump still does not function
