The best HO scale Thomas model
This model is divine. Great details and the analog sound makes it just like a real tank engine

Seems very reliable
I have 3 Hornby locomotives that have all died on me. This Bachmann Thomas seems way better, could be because I also upgraded to a better, bigger controller as well. I wish Bachmann would come out with more of these analog sound locomotives, mine works very well and kids love the whistle.

This would be good for six and up
My son loves the sounds and moving eyes. This train is too delicate for his age however. I have to help him put it on the track. This would be good for six and up. It is pretty durable and life-like and I recommend it as long as you can get a transformer/circuit from Bachmann that will work more than a month with light use!

Great toy, but makes horrible noise on DCC
It's a great little toy, with fun sound. Runs great. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it absolutely hates a DCC track. Makes a strange noise, and I'm afraid I'm going to fry the thing. So in order to run it I have to take my other engines off, and switch to the simpler non-DCC control. It does run on a DCC track but it makes the horrible noise.

Thomas the Train Model
1. My kids was so excited he couldn't wait til Christmas and opened the package right away. 2. Small..probably overpriced. 3. Thomas the train details are pretty good.

On the discription it should be clear that the item is train only and take away the other discription that not relevant to the item.

The motors on these are terrible. Track master ones last forever, my last bachmann Thomas lasted 3 months before the motor burnt out. Too expensive for the crap they are. Unfortunately who I buy them for has autism and they don’t understand nor cannot accept this so I just have to keep buying replacements at $150 a pop! Maybe ok if you don’t use it much but for someone who’s passionate like these are meant to be for, then expect this expensive hobby to be even more expensive.
