Before I start gushing about this bag, my only criticism/feedback is that:1) I wish the two mirrored front pockets' zippers would zip from the inside to the outside, instead of zipping inward. I say that because sometimes it can be difficult to get at the little tabs in the space between the pockets. However, I do understand that their current design leaves an option for the owner to use a little lock to secure the tabs together, and prevent those pockets from being opened, if one so chose.2) I wish the metal loops for the optional messenger strap were inside the bag; though from thorough inspection, I think that their current placement was a choice based on ensuring that the loops were as secure as possible. I don't happen to use the messenger strap, so I instead use one of the metal loops as a hook for my keys. I am able to flip the loop inward so the keys dangle inside the bag, but the weight sometimes pulls the edge of the bag inward.That said, the things I mentioned don't affect the utility of the bag whatsoever, and I'm just nitpicking. Every woman needs to own this bag.What sold me was the picture showing you could fit a handgun in the front pockets. I don't own a gun, but that showed me that it wasn't just some sleek-looking bag; this bag was made to hold stuff, and to keep that stuff within easy reach.I've had this bag for almost a year now, and it was exactly what I'd hoped it would be. Not once have I had to dig around to find what I was looking for. Not once have the straps dug uncomfortably into my shoulder, despite the fact that I carry altogether way too much stuff. Nothing I've put into it has ever spilled out; and, despite weighting it unevenly with a laptop, the bag has never fallen over after being set on the ground. All that, and it has a partially-insulated sleeve inside to keep a water bottle upright. Hot. Diggity.The design is so well thought out, and wonderfully executed. It's the perfect size for carrying around as a shoulder bag, holds its shape, stands up on its own, and can take a beating.AND IT HOLDS SO MUCH!My last bag's top closure was just a single magnetic snap. This bag has a discrete zipper closure all along the top, so whether it's left open or zipped shut, it never looks weird. In fact, all of the pockets zip, which, you wouldn't think is a big deal, but you'd be wrong.I happen to prefer non-leather bags, due in part to their lower price point, but also so I don't have to worry about scuffing or stretching. The downside is that the alternatives are usually thin canvas or rip-stop; neither of which are particularly water resistant, sturdy, or aesthetically pleasing. And while I don't think that this bag's material is 100% waterproof, it certainly is water resistant, and I have never had an issue with any of my stuff getting damp after I've been caught in the rain. To clean it, I've only ever had to wipe it down with a damp cloth, and even after accidentally scraping it against stucco, none of the fibers have broken or pulled.I read some reviews saying that the straps were too short, or that the bag was too small, and I'm wondering if we're talking about the same item here. The shoulder straps are downright perfect, and while it's not a tote bag, it holds everything you might need on a given day, and then some.I've been referring to it as a "bag" because I prefer not to play up my femininity on a regular basis; but this is a purse: an extremely functional, largeish, heavy-duty, laptop-holding purse, but still a purse.I have raved about this bag to my mom and sisters, but they only ever use purses with back straps. If this design could be implemented into a backpack purse without losing any of its current features, I know at least three women who would jump on it.In summation:-Laptop sleeve, cupholder, low maintenance-Pockets big enough for guns (apparently)-Great for people who work-Great for people in college (I would not use this to tote textbooks, but laptop/notebooks are all good)-Great for people with a pulse of any kind-Best bag ever-You need this bag-Give them your moneyIn case anyone is wondering, I purchased this bag at full price after a prime-specific search for purses with laptop sleeves. No one is paying me for my opinions, I just really like this bag, and wanted everyone to know.Ok bye.

When the strap of my old handbag of holding broke I was distraught. I tried to replace the strap but couldn't find the two inch wide adjustable leather one I wanted. I gave up and bought this bag. It's not as good looking, the material looks cheap from a distance. The design isn't as pretty, but it serves. It's not quite as large or deep. There aren't as many pockets and the ones that are there aren't as thoughtfully placed. Still, it's pretty good for a non-legendary item. I've no real complaints.

Used every day. Looks great, very good quality, zippers are tough but look nice, seems are very well done. Pockets are placed perfectly. I’ve brought it back and forth and still looks new! I might get a second one!
