Good book

If this book is a 2010 edition, then these reviews are very old. Where are the new reviews? Does anyone proof the reviews or am I actually looking at a book that's 10 years old?

Very informative

The book is slightly dated but contained all the information I wanted to know and organized in a very accessible way.

Great book

This A5 size book packs a punch on places to stay and avoid, however it is weak on explaining games, which the authors admit as you get into it. It would have been more accurate to have a picture of the Las Vegas strip on the front cover than two dice on a craps table. Powerful handy little book for travelling to Vegas, but not a book to really learn with proficiency how to play games. Although, it has handy tips on what to avoid doing when playing games. It does not discuss the importance of house rules in casinos, which are crucial to playing games and can vary considerable from casino to casinos. But this is a book about Vegas, not about gambling per se. Good handy tourist guide. A little bit of revision needed on games, but a very readable and down to earth book that respects the novice reader.

I brought this book as I am due to get married in Vegas next year and it was recommended to me. It wasn't particularly helpful to me as it contained little information about getting married there etc. I feel it is quite expensive when most of the information can be obtained from trip advisor. The only useful part perhaps is the section on how to play some of the games in the casino's.
