Simple, works well for my hallway entry way that is 5x6 bright enough. Uses 3AA batteries, not included, turns on at motion and turns off after 30secs of motion. if it detects light it won't go on which is great. I did not drill into wall, used a few wall stickies and two dabs of liquid nails. Also, I used long lasting energizer batteries, not the cheap ones, I won't have to change for a long time.

These are a really good buy for the money. Here’s what I’ve discovered after having them for over a year: * Motion detection is highly sensitive. Whether you use it for security or a light to come on to see by, this aspect is truly excellent. * Double AA batteries have lasted months with my applications; always a bonus when there is less maintenance and cost to run them! * Light becomes dimmer as batteries need replacing, so this is a useful indicator. * Highly durable; both of mine are in full Arizona sun and rain with no issues. * Plenty of light, even as they start to dim when batteries need replacing. * ‘Tilt-able’ in its housing, so light can be directed where needed with ease. * Super-easy to set up and install; took me around 5 minutes. I absolutely recommend these lights for outdoor use!

I’ve been pretty happy with the BIGLIGHT Battery Operated Motion Sensor Spotlight overall. It was very easy to install —the kit even includes a little template for pilot drilling a couple of screw holes. I really like that it’s wireless, so I didn’t have to deal with any complicated wiring or an electrician. The motion sensor works well for the most part, and the light is bright enough to illuminate a walkway, patio area, or dark corner around the house. I purchased it to light up a trash can area. This spotlight is especially useful in places where running power would be inconvenient. It’s lightweight, practical, and does exactly what I needed it to do as a simple security and convenience light. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the motion detection can occasionally be a little inconsistent, and battery life really depends on how often it gets triggered. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re using it in a high-traffic area. Overall, this is a very good option if you want an affordable, easy-to-mount motion sensor light without the hassle of wiring. I’d recommend it for basic outdoor lighting needs. Overall good value solution for low traffic area where light is still needed on occasion.

A great light that performed better than my expectations. Extremely easy to install. I've already purchases 6 of these lights. Perfect if you don't want to "hardwire" the power source and simply use batteries as the power source. The lights project much better than I anticipated. I spent hours on the internet trying to find what I wanted/needed and with these lights I'm completely satisfied with the results.

LOVE this! Use good batteries (not the cheap, Amazon basics)- use Energizer. They have more 'ooomph' and last longer before you have to replace. And it is a bit confusing when you get it- you have to slide the bottom part off of the base to get to the area to get to the area where you can screw it into the siding or where you want it. Instructions are lame, lol.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had a new shop/studio built about 50' behind my house. The first time I went out there after dark I realized I'd never find the keyhole without some kind of light. I bought this and mounted it above the door. Mounting was very simple - a drill and two screws, and it's immoveable. It works perfectly. I pointed it directly downwards, and it lights up as soon as I stand within a foot or two of the door. It doesn't begin working until it's dark enough to be needed. It stays on so I can find the right key on my chain and open the door. When I go back to the house it lights up when I step onto the porch and stays lit for me to lock the door. The remaining time is long enough to allow me to see my way across the yard to the house.

Stopped working within two weeks. Even changed batteries. Cheap

This is not bright at all and stopped working in less than two years. Suggest others might be better.

Wanted a light to attach to the back of my shed to light the way from when I get out of my car into my garden and this is perfect, it stays on for just the right time. I can't get a solar powered one as its under a large tree and doesn't get much light, so battery power is perfect. It can be positioned to the perfect angle and it waterproof. It's great value for what it does and was so easy to fit and has just the right about of sensitivity. It's good quality and looks good too. I would recommend. Edit: stopped working after 15 months

I find these lights are really easy to install and the motion detectors work very well. I initially bought one for my back stairs going down into my yard but found I needed 2 to really brighten up the whole length of the stairs (approx 14). My dog is getting very old and wouldn't go down the stairs at night anymore so these lights help immensely. I did get rechargeable batteries so that I wouldn't have to keep buying new ones. All in all I'm very happy with them now that I have the two.

Good bright light, but sadly not water proof, light no longer works battery compartment full of water

Batteries not included, needs 3 AA. Easy to hang, screws included but I used longer ones. The screw hole diagram that comes with it is wrong measurement, so make your own diagram to drill screws. Lights are perfect, rotate everywhere and come on if motion and off after 30 seconds. Light is bright and wide range. I would buy again and recommend 👍
