Sonline Stainless Steel Spring Loaded Walk In Freezer Cooler Door Handle Latch

The product was great and just as described. Purchased one just like it about a year ago for restaurant use-apparently they only last about a year before breaking. But for the price ....and the heavy use use it's a fine product. Shipping was very slow and unfortunately I didn't realize where the item was being shipped from until after the purchase. On the purchase page where it gives the estimated shipping date it was under estimated. A few days After purchasing I received an email with the actual ETA that was approx 3-4 weeks. If this is an item you use frequently my advice is order two (and always have a spare) this will save you the long wait when it does break.

It holds the door closed very nicely, but there was no instructions with it to suggest the catch may have been mounted a little further away from the handle. The door does not push open from the inside like I thought it would with the spring catch, so there is room for improvement.

It is not stainless steel I just wish they would get a larger more robust version of this. It is either these small pot metal latches or the $500 Kason stainless. Can't we get something in between?

They are not stainless as stated. It is chrome plated, so what can you expect for the money.I wish they would create a larger version of this slam latch as the American made are $550 each.Drill 2 holes in the handle then use 2 of these latches with a tube as the pull handle linking them and is sturdy enough for most BBQ doors.

It met my needs perfectly adapted it to a refrigerator door on a boat, saved a bunch of money over purchase from dealer

A piece of junk. It is already broken after one week of use. Was replacing a vintage handle that was in use for donkeys years. They don't make them like the old days!
