This coat looks great for the money, so much nicer than any I saw on the high street for twice the price, it fits snugly around the stomach area , but not tight as such, and the material seems to be of reasonable quality , with a good weight to it, it definitely requires a hanging hook in it, which it doesn't have, and I think this is an oversight on the part of the manufacturer, the side pockets are mainly hand warmers, and the zip pocket is for show only, but there are two inside pockets that are quite deep, the buttons seem a little loosely sewed on but they are nice, I would have liked a spare one or two inside the coat however, as I feel I could lose one in the future, and this product doesn't have any! The colour is good, I got the grey one, and the fit seems pretty good on me, wouldn't get another layer over my shirt however as it wouldn't close and I have the largest available at xl, but sleeves are good length and coat goes down to hip height, I am 5ft 11 inches tall. Although not worn yet as too warm at present, I would on initial evaluation recommend this coat if you want a classic look with a modern twist!

On 2 occasions people have stopped me, in my local town, to say they love the coat and ask me where I purchased it. Heavy so keep that in mind. Not a piece of material to wear. You can feel it's weight while you in it. It's comfortable to wear too. I went for xl rather than l size. I'm always wearing L size and this time I'm happy i haven't. Xl fits nicely and leaves bit of space. You can unbutton lower part. Or lower and top leaving only middle. It's snug you well and welcomes you with warmth. It was few below 0 in Bradford when i went to restaurant and i couldn't feel a thing. But get your self either good scarf or keffiyeh to wear it. Due to the design and V shape under your neck.Well that is assuming that the buttons does not fall off. Mine did, all three of them. And then was the matter of pocket piece slowly loosing it's sewing. Definitely not good. Not the best labour on it. Also it felt like it was wearing by someone whom had a cat or dog. Amd wasn't cleaned befote sending to me.

Nice item. I enjoy wearing it. You dont have to wear too much warm stuff underneath because it is a hot heavy winter coat. Not lightweight. Shorter than expected but not a deal breaker. Nice job.

This coat claims to be XL but is way too small. Highly disappointing especially as no larger sizes exist

I bought this as I read the reviews and in all honesty it is lovely quality and will keep you warm. It only actually has two functioning pockets in mine which are the two inside pockets. The two outside are simply hand warmers and not designed to put anything in. The angle of the pockets simply won’t work. However it is a lovely coat very cosy to wear and the scarf is also a nice touch.Now I am 6 foot tall and weigh abut 12 1/2 stones. I bough the large and although it is a nice fit and feels warm it is certainly not a long coat. It just about goes past my hips but that's it. Otherwise lovely fit. I'm returning mine as its not what I wanted although as i said it is a nice fit. Also the zip on the front is a show only it is not a pocket.
