I have used Norton Anti-virus products for years. They are good and reliable. I tried some free options in the past and never again.

I've been purchasing Norton for over 20 years and have never had a problem. Instant delivery via email, easy to install. I'd recommend using the link in the email to install (if you've not ordered the physical copy) as it's increasingly hard to find where to put in the activation code on the Norton website without downloading (and purchasing) again. Remember also to remove the automatically renew option on the Norton website so you're not automatically charged a whopping £90 for renewal next year. Other than the Norton website pushing auto-renewal and the struggle to find where to put the activation code, this product is highly recommended.

Much cheaper to purchase from Amazon providing you make sure to uncheck the auto-renewal which would otherwise commit you to renewing for £72 the following year. The product keeps you safe from the 'nasties' that lurk in the internet, but be aware that Norton continuously bombard you with requests to add/update new software that you have to pay for.

I'm old enough to remember the excellent Norton utilities, which mutated from a small, fast suite of MS DOS tools into a bloated, resource-hungry mess. Likewise, Norton Antivrirus was, not too long ago, a bit of a resource-hungry monster that could slow down a PC almost as much as the viruses it was supposed to be protecting you from. That, my friend is history. Norton 360 is excellent. Not only do you get first-class virus protection, you also get dark web monitoring to tell you if your personal details are being sold on the dark web, you get a fast VPN (I mean really fast, I've had VPN speeds of over 100mbps on my 200mbps Virgin broadband), cloud backup (just enough for Windows, but not enough for a load of installed games/software, so I don't use it.), a password manager, and parental controls. Frankly, it's worth the cost just for the VPN: 12 months fast VPN for 5 devices for £15? What sorcery is this?! (And yes, the Virus protection and VPN works on my Android phone and tablet). The downside? Installation is fairly simple, but unintuitive, and for the financially paranoid (like me) a bit harrowing. I don't like having to give my financial details to install software, but I found I did with Norton 360, even though I'd bought it from Amazon. Happily, it's easy to cancel the auto-renew, but it's a bit messy and Norton should do better. It's even messier if you're upgrading from an older version of Norton Security Deluxe, as it's not just a simple install, you have to completely clear off the old software and it's not intuitive or particularly quick. But for a fresh install, this is great! I was a died in the wool AVG user, but I'm on my third year of Norton now, (2nd year of Norton 360) and I'm loving it. Unreservedly recommended, but you may need a little tech support.

This item does not work unless you wish to give Norton all your bank details or credit card details ! Why do they need them when youve already paid here.?? Very shady company that sell all your data and everything you do online to the highest bidder. I do not trust a company that want to make there small print sooo small as to con people. After a year of supposed protection they automatically take £89.99 straight from your credit card unless you cancel all auto subscriptions. BUT THEN by cancelling your auto subscription you cannot use a brand new product key ( purchased on Amazon) unless you give these robbing #ers your card details again. Why support a company that are so shady as this.? Even Google has sites saying such! A company you have to contact directly to delete your account? That is not right either. None of us should have to jump through hoops to delete an account or to give card details out online when we've ALREADY PAID! Theres something seriously wrong here (and for elderly people especially). How do they navigate this assalt course? I will never use Norton again but switch to Bitdefender. I hope this will stop people purchasing from Norton
