Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit Universal 2 Port Aluminum Oil Separator Reservoir Tank with Drain Valve

DO NOT USE WITH TURBO UNLESS CAN IS VENTED. This user doesn't get the concept that pressure needs to go somewhere. Forced induction will push more blow by around the piston thus pressurizing crankcase engine finding the weakest point of failure. "Not bad quality, but the threaded plug on the bottom either isn’t tapered or it is oversized since none of my pipe plugs get tight. The bracket is not sufficient in my opinion as mine broke from engine vibration. My experience is that is actually lead me to misdiagnosis a turbo oil leak/ blues smoke like crazy on my VW ALH TDI swapped Toyota pickup. I thought my turbo was leaking at seals, then it was still leaking. Thinking it was not the seals I replaced the turbo, and replaced the valve stem seals, which includes buying the tooling and supporting seals/gaskets… I did all of that to find out the filter/screen in the catch can was building too much crankcase pressure pushing oil past the turbo shaft seals, even on brand new garret turbo. Removed the catch can and no more oil leak from turbo. I can’t blame it all on this as it was on there for a few weeks before I noticed any problems. I kept it to use on future projects"

Good quality, exactly what i was expecting. I purchased this version with the quick drain valve for the bottom to save my self trouble int the future. issue is the valve its self has no gasget and will need some plumber tape and liquid tape to stop it from leaking, also when the bottom valve is fully inserted into the catch can, it inserts into the can. Meaning even if you use valve drain you will be left with liquid in the can due to valve going into the can. ill have to grind/cut it down to size to ensure all liquid is taken out of the system. Other than that its great!

Works as described. Hose Barb thread is not M16. It is 5/8-16. Now i wait for the correct plug.

Quality catch can, operated as it should and did what I bought it for. Had a massive blow by issue and as you can see on the pic, it catches the oil after driving for the day so it's worth the money spend. Before i got the can, my intake was always loaded and because of that, loads of smoke will come from my tail pipe on the highway. Was easy to install after drilling 2 holes on side in my hood.

Works good but I would use high temperature thread sealant on the fittings to ensure a good seal. Easy to install in the PCV line and easy to empty with the ball valve. I like that it filters out the dirty oily blow by and it’s not sucked back into your intake manifold.

Works great it's not hi dollar, not installed on a high performance just a stock 92 f150 5.0 so it works awesome to eliminate blow by oil from intake , 300k motor so yes blowby happens! Drain every week. I know started using protect an restore valvolean it's helped by over half of blow by.

Very solid, seems well made, each vehicle will install differently, on mine had to be creative but everything worked out great, easy to drain the oil it catches and most importantly my car ran much much better, well worth the money and labor.
