I'm dubious lol** A: Yes, you certainly do get 4kg of beans for 20 to 22-ish GBP! The only thing that i would say is that if you want beans suitable for coarse grinding, to suit their use in a cafetiere for example, the Crema type might not be a good bet - we certainly found this. But it may be better with methods requiring finer grinds, and everyone's taste is different anyway - other reviews seemrd more complimentary. **Q: What is the best before date if i order melange 3x500g now?** A: I had about 1 year bbe. But with those coffees it doesn’t matter much as most likely you won’t get “fresh roast”. Still pretty good quality for its price, but I’d probably get different coffee, didn’t like it that much **Q: is there a date on package stating when it was roasted ?** A: Hi On Packet just received it has the Use By Date on 12.01.24 ... hope this helps ... For those that don't know, that has about twice the caffeine over Arabica bean. It makes a good strong deep flavoured coffee with hints of chocolate and maybe toffee. Good expresso and black Americano albeit needs sugar to overcome bitterness (that's probably the robusta). Unfortunately can't drink too much of this in one go as it gives me caffeine jitters, I usually have coffees with less than 20% robusta.
