Great for overwintering chilli plants
I decided this year I would try and over-winter my scorpion chilli plants which I had grown from seed at the start of 2019. The plant had grown very well but had simply run out of warm weather before producing anything. I brought the plant inside sometime in October and it seemed happy enough untill late December where it started dropping a lot of leaves obviously due to lack of sunlight so I decided to give these grow lights a try. I'm happy to report that in less than 2 weeks the plant is in full recovery! Where it had dropped leaves it is now sprouting new leaves and seems to be in good condition overall. The lights themselves seem very good quality with 4 light "branches" that can be angled and positioned pretty much anywhere. The base uses a spring loaded clamp that is best attached to 0.5 -1 inch deep surface so you will need to bear this in mind before buying. The timer gives you a few options for how long the lights will stay on (3h, 9h, 12h, all the time) but no way of setting when that time duration will start. It is simply from when you turn them on. For example if you turn the lights on at 11am and select 12hours then they will run from 11am - 11pm. Not really a problem - plants don't really care what time it is! You can also select the light type and brightness but I just left mine on ALL and FULL POWER! I would say the lights are powerful enough to easily provide light of as many plants as you can fit under them. Probably 2-3 medium sized plants and quite a lot of seedlings. They lights don't seem to draw much power as they are LEDs so no real power usage to worry about. Very pleased with them and would definitely recommend them.

Good quality and works very well
I would recommend this light and am pleased with the quality, especially considering the reasonable price tag. It's extremely practical to use due to the flexibility and it can cover a lot of plants on various shelves etc. The clip that holds it is of good quality and durable and it has an officent control pad style switch that allows you to set a timer if need be, it also allows you to use the 4 lights singularly which is very useful and also has 3 light settings but is very simple to use. It looks smart so is appropriate for use anywhere in the home and most importantly my plants are happy. I will be purchasing another one of these.

Very strong clamp
These lights seem to be very good. I like the fact that you can select any combinations of light strips to be on and the levels and the light qualities. They are very flexible while being strong and are easily positioned staying where placed. My only complaint is the clamp, I cannot even open it so I have to get my husband to do it. It's just way to strong. That is the only reason why I've only rated it 4 stars. Excellent piece of kit but I hope the manufacturer looks into having a slightly weaker clamp.

Good lights, works well.
Itโs important to test all grow lights before you use them. Today we are on day three of our test and allโs fine. So tomorrow these lights with be used for my young plants which are used starting to grow.

Fantastic grow light, sturdy, flexible!
There are so many offerings of many lights of the same ilk, can only comment on the ones I have tried. This was sturdiest of them all for the price point. I could comfortably move and bend each flexible arm of the light, without thinking it's going to break, no rattling, no loose parts. The clip seems strong too, i've had others that crack or fracture under minimal resistance. The timer function, though not revolutionary, is a nice addition. This is more than suitable for any keen gardener/grower, both amature and professional. I personally bought this to sow my seeds for fruit and veg for the summer, to give them a head start, but I can definitely see myself using it throughout the year. Also doubles up as a nice mood light too.

Makes Green Plants Look Brown
I wanted a grow light to keep a clump of plants alive in a dark corner of our room. Unfortunately, I never get to see the luscious greenery of the plants because the light makes everything look brown. I've only had the light a week or so, so I've no idea whether it helps the plants grow ... I imagine it does if it's really on the spectrum between 400 and 700 nm (which the blurb says it is). However, aesthetically speaking, I don't recommend it because I can't enjoy looking at my lovely plants when their natural colour is obscured by the light. If you just want a grow light to help your plants grow, then this lamp is probably good for that. If you want to gaze admiringly at your little jungle, this isn't the light for you due to the fact that you can't see them properly! I've started a return and have bought the variation of this lamp which contains just a red/white light. Not sure if the white light does anything but if I can see green leaves I'll be happy - and the red light is on the proper spectrum so it should support growth. This particular grow light - the red/blue one feels to be a sturdy light, well made, quite attractive, it has a 5 foot 7 inch lead, approx, which ends with a USB joint, but the USB joint fits into a 3-prong UK plug so you can plug it into the wall or a USB joint. Happy with everything about it except for the fact that when the light is on, the colour of my plants are exactly the same as the photos - dirty browny-grey :-( The pinky-purpley photograph shows the blue and red light on together. The red light on its own looks more orange. In my opinion, the red light on its own isn't pleasant to look at and when the red and blue light are on together, I find the colour disturbing, it's a deep pink colour. This isn't a negative against the lamp per se, it's just that it 'feels' uncomfortable for some reason, not natural to look at, hence I couldn't recommend it for someone's front room unless you're 'into' pink lights.

Looking promising so far... BUT
Initially got this link from a blog and bought 2 and So far. so good. it's been a month a half between the 2 pictures the pepper is growing well But for the gladioli it's a different story the 2 pictures are 2 weeks apart which is crazy to think about But When it came to repotting the roots seemed very weak. There was some variables that I ruled it could've been. for example the soil I used was old so it could have just been poor soil quality but again I'm not too sure On the other hand the gladioli was extremely healthy the roots were as thick as baby finger So not too sure, different scenarios for different plants Pros Bright light Adjustable Controls is very simple to use Different types of light setting Cons The clamp seems far to stiff and has damaged the paint on the table. I'm not really assed but can imagine other people really being put of the light because of that Timer, which is working but is really dreadful. The timer is suppose to turn on the same time everyday and last for however long u want it. Which isn't the case. for 2 sometimes up to 5 days it's fine and will do what it's intended but as time goes on it will drift a little. For example if I turn it on at 4pm and do a 8 hr timer it should turn off at 12 but it will drift if you don't reset it soon. So instead of turning automatically at 4 it started turning on at 5 then turning off at 1am then it will drift again turning on at 6pm and turning off at 2am. The idea of turning on automatically is quite neat because I dont get home till 6pm and the sun will stop reaching the room around about 4pm. But apart from the timer I really like them might get a 3rd one. But will wait for now to See how they turn out
