Thankfully I read the reviews and decided on an XL. I was scared because I thought buying an XL was ridiculous. It came today and looking at it I thought it would be big but it fits perfect. Not too big not too small. A large would have been too right and my dog wouldn't be able to move. The XL is surprisingly perfect!! This is VERY WARM! We are Floridians that just moved up north and my dog refused to go in the cold... This jacket fixed that problem. I definitely recommend this purchase. Can't beat this price and it came in two days. (I've attached a picture). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The fit was perfect. He measures from collar to tail 13 inches *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2014* Although it was snowing outside in a white-out this morning, that didn't hinder my 12lb poodle/terrier mix from wanting his one and a half hour morning walk. My dog was a rescue. Unfortunately he was so matted, the groomer shaved him down to practically no fur coat at all. I was distraught about that because winter has arrived. Well, this suit was a blessing. I find it challenging finding outfits where his urine stream clears the underbelly area. When he urinated he would soak the inside of most garments. With this suit, that is not a concern. He completely cleared the belly area. He is new to snow and getting him to move his bowels in the rigid cold seemed a challenge for him. In this suit, well, he's doing the business as if we were on one of our warm Fall walks. He shows absolutely no distress while wearing this suit even when we got caught in some light hail a few times. Although the outside of the suit appears soaked with all the wet snow this morning, I would frequently examine how dry and warm he was underneath all the fabrics. He was always warm as toast. The cuffs did block the snow from crawling up the inside of his legs. The fit was perfect. He measures from collar to tail 13 inches. His legs are about 6 inches long from cuff to armpit or groin. His chest is 15 inches. The only flaw I find in the design is there is no allowance for his leash on the back of the neck. I will have to drag out the sewing machine for that. Although the leash had to hang down his front, the hood was firm enough, keeping his head covered most often, but the leash travels all around, so his head did get wet eventually. Exposing such a little guy to the elements like that made me nervous so I cut short our walk. Once I create a leash hole on the back of the neck I'm confident we can resume our long walks. I recommend following Evergreens size chart. It was spot on with the fit for my dog. Thanks to this outfit I can continue to blow out all that never-ending little dog energy he possesses by walking him as usual. As I type this review, instead of chewing up another pair of shoes, he is sleeping like a baby along my side. I absolutely love this garment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Winter Wear for Small Dogs *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2015* This jump suit is PERFECT. My little Kohana has very thin hair, and needed something to stay warm in the winter months, but also something water proof for the snow/rain we also have. Because she is a girl I also wanted more belly coverage, which is harder to find in dog jackets, since obviously males can't have that. This fit all of my requirements.Like other people have mentioned these are for small dogs. My girl is 9.5lbs Chihuahua x Terrier, and anything but the XL would have been too small in the neck.Please DO measure around your dog for the correct size. I put a finger under the neck measurement to ensure it wouldn't be too tight, and I'm glad I did because it fits comfortably snug on her (in the not too tight/not too loose range of perfection!). The only issue is that my girl has a bit of an odd body composition, She has a very loooong torso, but is also very slim. So I went with the XL due to the neck size being correct and the others only a tad too large, and I can already tell the butt is a tad too large for her, but seeing as the neck/chest are sized perfectly this is the correct size for her.This absolutely no fault of the jacket though, my dog just has a bit of an odd shape! For dogs who are longer than they are tall, you might need to take in the jacket just a bit to get the perfect fit, or just have it be slightly baggy in certain areas. For those thinking on taking it in, there's already a seam on the middle of the butt of this jumpsuit which is perfect for undoing, and taking it in a few notches. This sort of sewing work doesn't require a sewing machine or for you to be a master at it (I know I' not!). I'll take a few photos before/after the altering job, but really this jumpsuit is exactly what I wanted in winter protection for my girl!Other bits of info on the jacket I don't recall seeing mentioned but discovered when I got it:No leash hole - can be good or bad depending on how you use this. I don't need a leash for my girl so this is fine + one less spot to let water in. You could probably put a harness over it though.Pockets - The ones on the butt are just for looks flaps, but the ones on the back are real pockets. You can put poop-baggies in them so you always have them on hand if you forgot to grab a few before going on your walk. They are really tiny, and don't snap closed, but still functional for stuff like that.Hood - It's flat and actually sticks out over my dog's head.
