Will this git the kitchenaid classic ( model k45ss)?

I can’t be certain, but this might be too big for the K45SS. There is a dough hook that I ordered for mine with the part code K45DH that I believe is the appropriate size.

What is the length, from locking pin to bottom? I have a very old K5A mixer.

Locking pin to bottom of attachment is 3/4 of an inch. Total from top to bottom is 8 inches. I hope that helps. My kitchen aide is over 40 years old because my sister gave it to me when my nephew was born in 1980

Fits Kitchenaid KG25H7XSL 5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer

Took several tries to find a dough hook that fits 5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer Kitchenaid KG25H7XSL. There is about 1/4" clearance at the hook to all around the bowl.

False Advertising

I bought this when it was advertised as fitting the K45SS. It doesn't fit. Got ripped off by false information. Funny that now they specifically state it doesn't fit.

Working ok but tough to remove

hook itself is not bad. But, the connector is too tight. So, it was very difficult to remove from mixer by twisting hook unlike the original other hook. It is getting better by using more.

Fits the KSM50 model

Feels light for steel but all coated with the white epoxy coating. Was worried about my old one oxidizing and getting into the dough. Worked for pizza dough today so at least it fits the KSM50 model.
