We hung it from a patio and now we've actually hung it up inside. It's really easy to assemble, make sure you find a good stud or hang from a very strong area. I wouldn't recommend just the ceiling, I'd nail up a 2×4 so if you're not in a sturdy spot you won't Mess it up. My package didn't come with instructions! So be logical! No damage from changing locations to see what worked. Now, it's a standard rope hammock so not necessarily the coziest but is actually really nice to swing and read in. I found it generally a good value and a cute addition to our hippie dippie home

I have ALWAYS wanted a hammock chair, but never had a place for it. Well our new house has vaulted ceilings with beams so I figured it would be the perfect time to try it. My hubby hung this from the beam no problem. It’s sturdy, comfy, and matches my decor. I LOVE it. Now I have a place to curl up with a good book!

Love this chair! We ordered two - the top strap on one of them doesn’t stay in place as well as the other and sometimes needs to be readjusted. Not a big deal- it may be that we have it hung at a slight angle as we have them on a tree branch. They are so comfy and relaxing to hang out in.

I wanted something to put in our high tunnel (hoophouse, 'greenhouse') for taking breaks & basking in the warmth in the winter. This. Is. Perfect. See, it can be 25 degrees outside but if the sun is shining it is 70 degrees or more inside my big plastic playhouse! Sometimes, on short daylight winter days, one needs a place to bask in the sun like a cat! It is hung on an old frame designed for hammock chairs & it is just so comfortable. It's almost like being weightless & feels so good to a tired back. When it gets too hot in there (May/June) I will move it out under a tree & bliss out once again. I would recommend this to anyone & everyone!

It was really easy to put together, and is holding up well so far. My children and I use it frequently. I’m about 150 pounds, and have no problems. I don’t recommend swinging though. I don’t think that’s what it’s intended for. The design of it adds to the sturdiness. I looked for so many that were less expensive, but the reviews all said that they weren’t sturdy enough. Get this one!!!

We were able to try one out at a friend's lake house. Loved it. So I purchased one for my husband for Father's Day. I also purchased one for my Dad for Father's Day. They both LOVE it! You'll want to ensure you've got it mounted into a cross beam to ensure it's sturdy. My dad ended up purchasing a stand for his so that he can use it indoors and outdoors. We all have enjoyed it quite a bit. Would recommend!

I love it - but I’m not sure it will stand up long with the weaving and how it is mounted on the pole. I used my own hardware to mount it to my pergola since the hardware that came with it weren’t as sturdy as I have mounted other patio swings

you much have a place to hang it up from directly above and give room for it to swing and move, I just hang mine up outside with ropes on a tree and it’s perfect! Edit: been using this since 2022 and it’s still amazing!!!! It’s November 2024 now!!
