7010 Replacement Lever for Powerlifting Lever Belts

I’ve had my belt for years and when my latch broke I thought I’d never find another until this. I ordered several others before this one and they all were sent back. This is quality and study and feels exactly like my old one. It’ll probably be the last one I buy. I’ve had this one now for 2 months

The lever on my belt has been giving me problems since I first purchased it. I immediately had to buy replacement screws, then within a few months one of the pins began falling out. I had to put the pin back in whenever I used the belt, then it would fall out as soon as I put it back in my bag. In fact, the company I bought the belt from stopped offering levered belts right after my purchase, due to quality problems with the levers. (Evidently they contracted with another company for the levers.) Desperate to find a solution, a quick search on Amazon turned up this Contraband Replacement lever. Upon receiving the lever, I could immediately tell that the quality of this lever was far superior. The hinges were stiffer, and pins seem much more secure. The screws that came included were actually long enough to fit through the belt. Upon installing the lever, it immediately fit more securely. (The old lever had some play up and down.) It also may be my imagination, but it feels like this lever pulls the belt a bit tighter in the same setting. This product is fantastic and I would recommend to anyone looking for a replacement lever. In fact I'm tempted to call the company that made my belt and telling them to contact Contraband and start selling levered belts again. I look forward to see how this holds up over long term.

Love it, it looks good especially with a black or a dark camo belt. The back plate however split apart as I was tightening the screw so I ordered a replacement for it on a lifting site called iron tanks. Other than that can’t complain, I feel good in them

Very cheap quality! Used it twice and the mounting bracket on the inside of the belt broke in half

18MAR17 - I'm updating my review of the product and the company. Yes my originally purchased lever broke; however, the company worked with me to design an heavier duty version for powerlifters. I just got a test version in the mail today! It looks great and is very rugged! The newer heavy duty version will hopefully last forever!!! It is much better than any of the previous investment cast versions that I've had in the past. I can't give Christopher at Contraband a high enough review for his customer service!!! He really went above and beyond!04NOV16 - I bought this lever from Contraband Sports back on February 25th of 2016. I was at my last meet a week ago and the damn thing broke on me during my squat warm up while in the hole! Not good!I bought this lever for my new Schiek powerlifting belt. I like the color options and this lever seems to be much better quality than the original. The only issue with this lever is that when it is fully released (open) between lifts, the lever has a tendency to stick and is hard to pry loose. That is why I gave it 4 stars. It will likely loosen up over time, but it is annoying for now. Overall it does what it is supposed to and is a great alternative to buying a new belt if your original lever breaks.

Smooth easy to close stays shut good replacement!

You get what you pay for. Doesn’t close all the way and doesn’t completely latch into the belt, but does stay closed when lifting. I use it on my bench belt so there isn’t an extreme amount of pressure on it. I can also tell that if it hits the ground too hard it will break very easily.

There aren't many options out there when it comes to replacement buckles, this has got to be the best. Contraband replacement lever buckle is about 1/2 the price of the other single piece buckles that are out there and works great. It's an obvious quality upgrade from the original buckle that came on my belt, it was a perfect fit to my 10mm belt with no slack at all. If you are looking for a replacement​ or just an upgrade look no further, save the money and buy this buckle you will not be disappointed.My only complaint if you can call it that is the lever was a little sticky at first, after my first few gym sessions everything worked great no sticking.
