It fits in my pocket, it's the only fishing gadget that ACTUALLY fits in my pocket. Sure, others may, but this one is comfortable. It is literally the only gadget that I ALWAYS will have on me. So to me, it makes the price worth it. I got it for my son who some how became obsessed with handline fishing. He’s 4yrs and is way to young for it, so I started using it. We go fishing about 3-4 times a month. It would be daily if my son had his way!The cast is pretty easy to learn. The retrieve on the other hand is hard than you think. Your definitely not going to be using spinner baits!It’s very well made and fits great in my hand (I have a medium to large hands). Spend the extra money and get the one with line and hooks included.I haven’t caught a fish with it yet, but it’s been fun trying. No moving parts to break or malfunction. It's a bit on the small side so if you have large hands then that could be an issue. It holds a LOT of line to be so small though. I put almost an entire spool of Berkley Trilene 20 lb line on it. It casts smoothly once you get the hang of it. Just like a spinning reel with all of the excess removed.
