Very happy with this!
Didn’t really ‘need’ this on my R56. Doesn’t make it faster, handle better or sound better, but it looks great. Thought I’d take a chance for $8 and am very impressed with the quality and fit. It looks great! I made sure I cleaned the start/stop button first with a little rubbing alcohol and did a test fit first, without the glue. Looked like a perfect fit, so I carefully fitted tge surround and then the button. Like other reviewers have mentioned, take your time lining it up because you only get one shot, but it’s easy to line up, even with my big hands.

This fits perfectly in my 2013 R56 mini. Easy five minute install looks great. Good price point.

They are beautiful!
They are beautiful!! These are extremely heavy and made of outstanding quality materials. The emblems are deep and rich in color and clarity The only downside was the adhesive. Even after cleaning the Application area, The adhesive would not stick. Luckily, I had a roll of 3M double-sided trim adhesive. I placed it on top of the manufacturers adhesive, and then installed it on the door panels. And this was just my experience I have read other people had no problem with the adhesive. But if you do there is a very inexpensive fix. I would definitely recommend these to anyone I knew that had a Mini Cooper. They give a really high and look to the door locks especially if you look through the window. Bonus, it’s even nicer when you’re inside the car.

Nice fit and finish!
Perfect fit and great quality but would be better if it looked like picture...grey and black...my fault did not read it right Black/White...I assumed and we all know what happens....

Good quality enamel
It doesn't seem big enough to make a difference, but it did change the look of the ignition area of my Mini Cooper base model! Good quality enamel, good adhesive. It has been on the car for some time now and i have had no issues with it moving or coming loose. I always use a little wipe of alcohol before applying adhesive backed items. It stands up a little higher since it just sticks to the top of the original button and at first i wondered if i would like it, but it was a non issue from the start.

Easy to install, classy touch for my MINI
I saw this and loved it. I didn't need it, but it looked so cool I bought it. It's GREAT! ... and super inexpensive. My only warning... the adhesion is TOO good. Be very careful to align it the way you want. Mine is slightly off from vertical, but there's no way I can pull it off to reset it! Next time I'll know.

Looks good
Of course, putting the button over the lighted button on the dash means that there is no lighted button when you get in the car in the dark, but by now I can find the button in the dark anyway. The ring that goes around the button, itself, is narrower on one side - that is the side that borders the tachometer. Stick that part down first remembering that you want to get it set correctly the first time. It won't slide around to adjust its position. Then press the flag button onto the start button remembering that it, too, will be set once you press it into place. I didn't try to pull either part off to reset it, so I don't really know if that would work. So far (five days) it has stuck in place just fine. Now approaching the end of August and both parts are still stuck with no problems.
