This book is fantastic. It has quickly become on e of my favourites on manifestation. Wonderful examples and stories of details put into practice and the 'words are your wands' book gives valuable affirmations. well worth the purchase

Good condition and useful

Text is somewhat old fashioned but considering it was written in 1928 its acceptable. Straight to the point in explaining the laws of attraction and what we sow with negative thinking and actions we ultimately reap into our lives down the line . I think it's the best book that I have read on the subject of self development to be honest. The text is ' backed up' with exerts from Biblical text which I personally found interesting and a reinforcement to Florence's overall message. I bought this book only afew days ago and I am already following her ideals ( letting go of anger, resentment etc ) . I like the advice given regarding choosing an affirmation that resonates and how applying it with regularity and conviction can bring about a positive change for the better. In my humble opinion it's a book that is a real gem and one that everyone looking into the self development/ manifesting/ LOA ideals should really consider purchasing as it's an easy read with clear instructions on how to make positive changes in our thought and actions.

This book is engaging and uplifting read that reveals how applying spiritual principles can help us live more fulfilling lives.

If you can keep an open mind & look past the godly approach to this book it is in fact a very good read about learning to change your ways for the better, to be more mindful & to hold a sense of positivity & openness. This book was lent to me by a friend & I purchased my own copy. I’m not a religious person, yet this book did provoke some very interesting opinions & thoughts about certain aspects of life.

A fantastic book. If you are just getting used to how the mind can make you happy or miserable, this is the book for you. I first read "The Game of Life and How to Play it", which is also included here, in the eighties, and it changed my life. If you are a beginner, this book will change yours too, and if you are more seasoned in this field, this book will remind you of the simple, every day things you can do to make your life, and the lives of others, so much more enjoyable and successful - which we all forget now and then. This book is the best thing you can do for yourself. It does contain some religious references, but don't let that put you off, if you are not of that ilk; that did not affect the message, which is fundamentally one of love and positivity - and that translates to all beliefs. This is a delightful book, written in simple terms anyone can understand. and you will pick up again and again, when you feel in need of a lift - it is a friend for life.

An audiobook of The of Life and How to Play it found me on YouTube and the title intrigued me. Having listened several times and then discovering more books by FSS I decided I needed to know more, but wanted to read and make notes, hence the book purchase. What an amazing collection that puts so much of bible text in to perspective. I have struggled to understand much of the bible and what it’s telling me but this book just makes sense. I also love the many examples given that make the book personable. Having practised very simple affirmations on a daily basis I can confirm success. This is a life changing book if you go with it and have the determination, discipline and dedication to take action. You can make changes to your life that you previously never thought possible. They say, the teacher comes when the student is ready. That is all i want to say about this book. If you have come across this book by any chance. Universe is showing you the path, just buy the book and give it a read. In case you have read main stream books like Power of subconscious mind and The secret. You would be surprised to see the thought process of Florence Shinn. A mind eye opening book. Wishing good health, prosperity, peace, love, joy and abundance to whoever is reading this.

This book for me is about your timing of your life. I have believed a lot in my self in my life and worked very hard to go forward in it. A time has come we’re it didn’t work any more and I asked were do I go from here? This was put in front of me. It takes a lot to have faith and I am blessed.

Amazing books! We are so lucky to have these available to us. Thank you Florance. I bought one if her books in 2013 and could never get into it. Donated the book. And I was ready for it this year. Some people may be turned off by the bible quotes, and they are overwhelming at first, but i found them to be helpful many of times to bring more clarity through their examples. After a while I got used to them and let go of my resistance, and received😊. Every day before I go to sleep, I say hello to Florance and the book, express gratitude and ask what I need to expand tonight and what will contribute? I always open it “randomly” and always read what I require clarity about… without a fail. The book is getting colorful highlights, as I find it is easier to go straight to the lines that jumped at me when I first read them.
