Great cartridge. I don't use printer much and if I get XL it dries up before I can use all the ink. This one is just the right size.

HP is a good product.

This an HP ink cartridge so I always expect it to work well in my HP printer, which it does. The ink (black) is nice and dark. I do not buy the generic ink cartridges, even when they say they work in my HP printer, because they don't work well. My main complaint is that this cartridge is somewhat expensive as I find the ink in the cartridge does not last a long time (for many printings). I have found that I can extend the life of the cartridge by printing in "draft" instead of "normal" and I don't really see a difference in the quality of the print. This is my go to for HP ink cartridges.

II purchesed an alternative through Amazon which was more reasonable in cost. When I instlled it in my HP Office Jet printer it gave me a "replace cartridge" message continually no matter how many times I tried. Bought this exact replacement and it worked fitst time. Apparently the one I bought is not compatible with HP Office Jet eventhough the product description says it is.

When you need to print these are the ones to keep on hand. They are a good price and last well when you print regularly. If you don’t print enough inks can dry out but that’s not the inks fault.
