They offered to refund my money or send me a new unit. Although they indicated the product has been updated, the new one still did not hold my phone with a case. I added an additional star because I was very impressed by the fantastic customer service and eagerness of the seller to make me happy. The mount/charger is fantastic, but again, not for large phones with protective cases.First, the good. This car charger appears to be of very good quality. It's very easy to mount and unmount your phone. Once attached to the windshield, and all the pivot points are snugged, the phone stays put. I use this in an F550 tow truck and the ride is very harsh. I was concerned that this wouldn't stay put, but it does.Now the bad. I only have one criticism but its important. The description states it will hold a Samsung S10 with a case. Not even close. I need my protective case due to the nature of my job. So I was very disappointed that I had to give this to my wife (she has a S9+ with a case and it fits).Overall, fantastic product for smaller phones or larger phones without a case. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Love that I no longer have to "plug in" and it holds it securely in place *by V***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2020* The unit seems firmly suctioned to my windshield. (I haven't had to reseat it or make any adjustments). The auto-close/auto-open feature works as advertised. (I will say that I sometimes bump the auto-open accidentally when trying to use my phone while in the holder, but it is easy to just bump it again and the auto-close regrips it.) I got the red color, and it's beautiful (matches my phone). We are considering buying another for our other vehicle!UPDATE: I lowered my review from 5 to 3 stars. It's about 8 months old now, and is malfunctioning. When I turn the power on in the car, it "freaks out" (where it slightly squeezes the sides in over and over for about 3-5 seconds a few times before giving up altogether). Sometimes, it will ultimately grip my phone and charge it; sometimes it will not.
