I recently purchased a pair of night vision goggles from Amazon, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. These goggles have definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and affordability. First and foremost, the price of these night vision goggles was incredibly reasonable compared to other similar products on the market. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable they were without compromising on quality. In fact, they matched the quality of more expensive models, making them a fantastic value for the price. The night vision capability is simply astonishing. Even in pitch-black environments, I could easily spot objects with remarkable precision. The level of detail these goggles offer is truly impressive. The build quality of these goggles is outstanding as well. They feel sturdy and durable, and I have no doubt that they will withstand regular use and minor impacts. While I am not about to use it to raid an insurgent camp, this is a cool accessory for around the yard. First, the cons: Uses (6) AA batteries. Would like a USB charging option Not the most clear in really low ambient light Display is a bit muddy when zoomed in Pros: Easy to set up. Once we figured out how the setting worked it was easy to get it working properly Does what it is supposed to do and the image is clear enough for recreational use Tripod mount is solid and adds utility to having it for spotting game Definitely a bargain for the features that you get

This unit delivers fairly clear images with zoom capabilities for around $200, which is comparatively inexpensive. If your needs are limited to being able to see objects in the dark and capture images and video from up to 10s of meters away, this model will likely please you. Reading the manual and orienting yourself to the button locations will increase your ease of use. One aspect of the unit that could be fixed or modified is the brightness of the output screen. Looking through the viewfinder tends to greatly affect your unassisted night vision when removing from your eyes or turning off the unit. It could potentially create a hazard if being used while walking or moving while in use. Adding a dimmer control or false color image for the output screen might decrease the affect to vision when transitioning between assisted and unassisted vision. The field of view is also partially limited by the single output of IR light from the fixed position at the front of the unit. Having an additional IR light would increase the field of view by illumination of the area beyond the single fixed cone of light. Another aspect which could be modified is the power requirement of AA batteries, with no option for an external power input or included rechargeable batteries. This is obviously a factor in the reduction of the cost, however this negative aspect doesn’t cancel out the effectiveness for the price. This unit could be used for camping and leisure or simple home security concerns; from noisy parties to nuisance wildlife activity, you can capture the culprits in the dark with ease. So I have a set of monocular nvgs for my job, but wanted my own personal set because I hated the work ones. I decided on these because it covered your whole forehead, and not just like binoculars and just your eyes. You can even wear your glasses while you're still looking through them, or, you can hold them an inch or two away from your eyes and still see just fine! So, the first thing I will tell you, is make sure you either read the directions, or take your time! Me, I did not do either, and got very frustrated. It was my own fault, and not the fault of the night vision. I could not figure out how in the world to get it to switch between infrared and regular. When I finally did, I felt like an idiot. All you have to do is press the button and wait for it to click, and it works like a champ. then, to switch pack, just press the button closes to you and wait for it to click again. It also took surprisingly good photos, which I finally figured out where the MicroSD card slot is. These are so sleek, well-built, and fairly tough. Don't expect these to be $10,000 night vision, but for this price, you cannot go wrong. I actually used them during the storm the other night for my backyard to be able to look for limbs, and wish I would have taken a picture. Quite frankly, my mind was not on taking pictures, but looking for damaged. As you can see, when you turn on the night vision, it likes everything up! I was very surprised, and will probably put this in my work bag for when we get call outs. Very happy that I got these, my and my partner is actually ordering a set also. You cannot beat the price, or the quality.

Been using this for a couple of days/evenings now. Wanted to run it through the paces before reviewing. I'm very impressed with these. They're good during the day but are really impressive at night. Menu settings are simple enough and easy to adjust to your preferences. Night vision quality is awesome! Took me a minute or two to figure out the zoom but that was me playing with them before really reading through the manual. Read the manual lol. The only thing I'd like to see added is the ability to reduce screen brightness but that's the only thing I'd change about them. I'll modify something to work as a glare reducer. I've already told a couple of friends about these that have farms also. There's always something moving around after night. Possums, coons, deer, coyotes, armadillos, chupacabras, bigfoot... You get the idea. With these, we're able to better see what's getting the dogs riled up or trying to get into the chickens. Longest distance I've checked them at is about a quarter mile but it lights things up like daylight with the IR. Try it in a lower setting and adjust up as needed. Clarity is pretty good. You're not going to be able to see fine detail but that's not what these we're designed for. You'll definitely be able to see what's going bump in the night. Battery life seems good but I honestly haven't used them enough yet to comment on it further than that. I'll probably throw some lithium AA's in it if needed later but so far so good on just regular energizers. Definitely great in open field situations. In the woods, you'll need a clear line of sight. Fall and Winter will be better in the woods without as much foliage to contend with. Just in time for deer season to help during those low light hours to see what's actually out there. Will upload some video and pictures I take with it once I have some critters to show off. If you're on the fence about them, I'd say go ahead and pull the trigger. Price is good for what you're getting.

This was affordable enough, and worth a try. The case is well built, and protects the device well. I'm not sure why, but it says "Night Vision" clearly printed on top. As it was made in China, perhaps there is less English language creativity. Overall, the camera works ok. Bluetooth would have been nice, but it includes a micro SD card for storage. The range of the infra red flashlight is the only limit to the range of "night vision". However, it functions well as long as it is at full power, and it runs on six AA batteries. Reduced battery or charge also reduces its capabilities, oddly. My one large regret is that the monitor DOES NOT HAVE A BRIGHTNESS CONTROL. As this could potentially light up my face for animals at night I'm taking a discrete photo of, this is a disappointment—blinded by the light. For infrared, the limit of not functioning through a window might discourage some. As a side note, one benefit to this product is you will always have good customer service. If there are any troubles you have, they want to know what they can do to fix it. For most, I suspect these will fulfill their expectations.

Double object. Any light source. Even things that are not lighted up. First time it formated card . It said card error.. then the screen went nuts and locked up. I formatted card in menu and it seems to work.. The ir will be in a circle many times. Not ful filling the screen.. Ir level look all the same.. I will be returning.. 4.3 is not a true rating on this product... they also rate 3 differnt modles under one rating system.. that should not be allowed.... lol I also bought there 2023 version.. it won't let me make a separate review.. 2023 are made vary cheaply... zoom does not work in vidoe mood. Both are being returned.. your buying junk. Update. 2/12/2024. I bought for 3rd time.. they made this item wrose!! They put the crap software from there newest crappy 4k unit on this.. thats not what the add says for this.. with the 4k unit software on this know.. you no longer can zoom in or out while recording. !. I already filed with BBB. There this company deserves to be sued with a class actiom law suit. Vary disappointed. I rebought just for zoom in and out while RECORDING. THIS NO LONGER DOES IT DUE to thay pUT THE 4K UNITS SOFTWARE ON THIS UNIT.. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! False add. I double checked. Thank god. Company sucked. i was pissed in the past. I skyrocket and call the bbb! They even started to harras me in emails.. came to the point i gave all my order numbers to them.. for they asked.. all they said you returned them. I said no. Beep.. i was not getting to the point why are u bothering me if u will not help.. again they asked for my order numbers.. i took this as harrasment.. after another email. I was better much toasted.. with there service. I uoloaded pictured of the software version that is not suppose to be on this.. lol and showing 4k options to record. Inwitch i dout it records in 4 k. Add does not say it does.. again stay away.

Out of the box, with batteries I provided installed, this works really well. I use it for work, so this is definitely something I needed to function at a high level but not break the bank to do so. It is intuitive to use and allows me to do the thing I need most - see in the dark at a distance. I can spot bad guys doing things they shouldn't be doing at a range of several hundred yards away in what they think is complete darkness and safety. I have already used it to excellent effect. Paired with rechargeable batteries, I'll get a ton of mileage out of this. In terms of what that mileage looks like - I have a specific bar I need and it's different than most. I need to spot the actions a watched person is taking at a distance in very low light as opposed to being able to identify *who* they are. If I can discern an individual, say, cutting a bike lock in an alley at 300 yards, I don't need to be able to identify them personally as "Mr John Doe 5'10" 175lbs brown hair red sweatshirt blue jeans" But I do need to be able to say "THAT particular dude in that alley just stole a bike." This works phenomenally for that purpose. The closer they are, the more closely I can come to that John Doe description. The optic zoom works great. The digital not as well so really far distances fall flatter than the mid range. But it's a grand total of 7x zoom. Things like trees/bushes/foliage will obscure the IR. I don't like that there is not an on-screen indicator of what output level the IR is currently set at. Apparently you just have to cycle through 7 levels plus off for the IR emitter. But recording video and taking a photo are simple. I have not tried it from inside a vehicle (and through the glass of the windshield/windows) but when outdoors it works fantastically. I can see down alleyways that have surrounding light - meaning there is illumination "noise" around it - in front, behind, to the side, etc. Bright light of course will drown out the night vision but as long as I'm not looking directly at a bright light source, it's really good. I can discern and distinguish objects, animals and people at several hundred yards away even on cloudy nights with no starlight or moonlight. Even in pitch black it's good. The lack of accompanying audio recording is a bummer, but that's typical with these items. What I could really use is a better method of carrying the binocs. The case they came in is an average molded-shaped type protector. But that case is not designed for quick deployment nor for anything other than hand carry. It also comes with a neck strap, but how many uniformed good guys want to walk around tough parts of town with a noose wrapped around their neck? I don't run around with a tactical helmet on to attach this to, either. A belt loop style pouch mount on the back of the case or a molle-capable type web would be a big help.

Brilliant night

I think the highlight of this item is the night vision quality, it really works, even if you are in a completely dark room that you cannot see your fingers, with this tool, every item in the room is clear, with well recognizable 3D layers and sharp border. For moving stuff, no lagging and blur. Good value.

Love how military tech trickles down to the average Joe after time and unless we’re in the business we don’t know what we’re missing. What a great set of night vision binos and they are priced incredibly well. Sturdy. Some weight to them. Comes with a micro SD card. Can be used during the day. But at night is where these binos excel. Will put them through their paces and update. Early opinion is there are excellent. Buy them.
