Good GoPro clone at $70-$80 price point - and more features than GoPro
Good thing I found the Lightdow LD6000 1080P HD Wifi Sports Action Camera ($69-Amazon Lightening Deal) before I bought a GoPro Hero 4 silver ($399) to replace my older GoPro Hero 3 silver)For me, the LD6000 is more than "good enough" for my application(s)I will cut to the chasePROso Good enough for most action cam applications at this price point.o Comes with lots of accessories. (More than GoPro)o All your existing GoPro accessories will fito Has 4x digital zoom (not on GoPro)o Has dash-cam mode (start with external power applied; stop when power remove) (not on GoPro)o Has Anti-shake (not on GoPro)o Has motion detect (not on GoPro)o Bright display easy to read in sunlighto The Android application (YouMera) works great (get it from Google Play store)o Additional batteries are inexpensive ($17 for 2 including charger)o Video quality as good as my GoPro Hero 3 Silver (1080p)Conso No true "skeleton" case (see below)o Audio not that great in protective case (even using the alternate back) (would be improved with true Skeleton case - see below)o No ability to use an external Mic (GoPro has this)o User manual is bad and incompleteo Download of the application is via a QR code on the manual which sends you to a raw IP address and an APK that won't download and seems very dangerous. (Get rid of that and just point us to the Android and Apple Stores - app is free)o Has HDR but no real info on how to use it. (bad manual)o Won't take anything larger than 32GB card (kinda OK since 32GB will get you 5hrs 1080p recording)How to make it bettero Have a true "skeleton case" that would allow access to the USB port, HDMI port, and better expose the built-in microphone. GoPro has this. In my application (Motorcycle) I would like to apply external power AND have the camera somewhat protected. So, what I will do is drill the case to allow access. In dash cam mode, this would also allow some protection for the camera, especially the lens.o Add a lens cap (of some sort) to the "kit"o Add the ability to use an external Microphone (GoPro has this)For LightdowThere are some tiny things you could do that would make the user experience so much better at minimal cost to you.o Have a real web site. Put the firmware there... and any updates. Put a full manual there in a font that people can read and is complete.o Get rid of that funky QR code on the manual to get the software at some non-DNS address.Bottom line, Do the math. GoPro clone at the $80 price point. This camera, inside, is really a SJ7000 - branded "Lightdow"

Great Sports Camera For A Lot Less Than A GoPro!
I bought the Lightdow LD6000 (which is like a GoPro but a ton cheaper) sports camera for a cruise that I was going on as I wanted to take pictures and videos while cave tubing, zip-lining and at the beach but not bring my expensive DSLR which is bulky. I searched on Amazon and looked at a ton of different model GoPros and knockoffs like this one and was impressed by the high rating and amount of positive reviews that had been left for it. I decided to pull the trigger on the purchase and also bought some other accessories for it that looked like a good value.I have to say that after using this camera for a few weeks I am EXTREMELY happy with the picture and video that it takes and am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It takes great quality pictures and amazing quality videos. Because of its rugged build and cheap price I wasn't worried about taking it in extreme situations like zip-lining as it can withstand drops. My only concern before buying the camera was the video quality as it seemed to be crummy based upon whats uploaded here to Amazon. The reason why the videos look crummy is that Amazon compresses them. Just go to youtube and do a search for this camera model and you will find a ton of reviews of the camera with actual camera footage that should put any video quality questions that you have to rest.

Just OK not great.
UPDATE: So after using this camera for a little more time, I feel the need to lower the rating a little for two reasons. One is that the waterproof case is not waterproof so don't even think about trying it under water. I would call it splash proof or water resistant. Plain and simple it leaks. We are not talking any great depth either. Swimming pool. I tested the case without the camera and sure enough it let water in. The second issue is that one of the batteries has totally failed and will not charge at all. At first I thought it was an issue with the camera but after swapping batteries the camera works fine with the other battery. So now I just ordered a second set of batteries on Amazon with a charger because you can't buy just a single individual battery that I can see. So now I am into the Lightdow Camera with the second set of batteries for about $80.00. So how long do I think that this camera will actually last? Probably not that long I am afraid. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have purchased something a little more higher end like a go pro or something similiar.******************************************************************************************Great Little Camera! Good value with included accessories. Camera works perfectly and takes excellent video and stills. I have not needed to use the wi fi function but I did try it and it works. It comes with an instruction manual but it is a little hard to understand. I personally didn't need it as I found the camera very easy to use and set up after playing around with it for about 20 min. There are only two buttons and an up and down button so it is pretty easy to figure out. Once you pull up the menu, you can scroll using the up and down button and select with the ok button. If you plug it into a computer, the camera powers up and you can select either mass storage or camera. Selecting mass storage allows you to view the contents of the cameras sd card and copy the files to your computer for editing or sharing. The video quality is very good especially outdoors. Low light conditions will produce lesser quality video. This is also a wide angle lens so there is a fisheye effect to all video and pictures taken with it. The farther away the subject is means more of the fish Eye Effect. I am very happy with it and would buy another one if something happened to this one.
