As a maintenance person, these are awesome at keeping the toilet clean! Unlike other bleach cleaning tablets, etc. the design of this bypasses the rubber insides of the tubes/gaskets/washers in the toilet tank and just sends the cleaner to the bowl itself. Refills are way too pricey however. I use Clorox brominating tablets, which work fine but last a little over a month.

They work like a charm. I have used these before in the past and cannot sing their praises enough. good bye to any buildup around the fill/drain holes in the bowl and good bye to any intense scrubbing. The power of the chlorine tablets used by the system ensures no staining to porcelain while also reducing the amount of any residue build up on the toilet bowl itself. They are not a substitute for regular bowl cleaning but they drastically reduce the amount of work involved.

This is a simple setup provided that you do not have any extra stuff in your toilet. Plug one end into the water output, and clip the other to the hole for the bowl. Clip the case to the back and drop in some tablets. There is no cartridge, so it is easy to buy off the shelf bulk tablets that may fit. Lesson learned: do not use with the dual flush system. It does not work and degrades the system quickly. But a standard flush it works perfectly. If you have vey hard water you may notice brown streaks in the toilet. Clean these up before they stain! Get yourself a water softener and this will prolong times between cleanings. It does NOT work well in hard water environments, and does not remove existing hard water rings. Sorry, you must scrub your toilet clean before you start using this....it is not a miracle for the lazy, but it does help us lazy folks out! Reality: you can easily fashion this on your own for half the cost or less. But you will miss out on the nice purple lid!

I had avoided bleach tablets that you place in the toilet tank in the past because they cause the flapper to degrade quickly, leading to noisy running toilets until I would break down and replace the flapper. That wasted time and money. That is, until a friend told me about this system. Because the bleach water is sent directly into the bowl fill / overflow tube, there is no issue with corrosion of the flush components or tank bolts. Installation was quick and easy, as is filling / refilling the container. The only two small issues I have with the system are: It does produce a moderately strong bleach odor after you flush, and At about $5 per refill, the refill packs are significantly more expensive than even name brand tablets that go in the tank, but I haven't been able to find an alternative that is appropriately sized, and I'm not keen on the idea of trying to take a standard tank tablet and trim it to fit in the Kaboom dispenser.

I bought three of these and put them in each of my toilet bowls. Before this product, I swear our toilets would get yellow stains within a week... We recently moved into a new place and it must be the hard water. I did a bunch of research and decided on these because they are low maintenance, last a long time (the tablets), and it puts the tablet water directly to the toilet bowl rather than in the tank where it could sit and damage parts. It's working great, I now need to clean less than once a month (depending on the toilet and how much we use it). It's been great.

So I like this design because it doesn't have tablet sitting in the water dissolving. This hooks up to the line inside the tank and only pushes water across the tablet when the tank is filling so the tablets last longer. We have had it installed for about 6 weeks no and there are not any black lines or rings forming, so this will keep us from scrubbing the toilet more often.

Tired of scrubbing and now super happy. These are really easy to install and good solutions to solving your stained toilet problems. They give you chlorine or bromine to the toilet without the destruction to your rubber parts. It will not eliminate your need to clean the toilet, so if that’s your desire, have some well trained children or house cleaning service. I have reduced the number of scrubbing needed from once a month to about every 3-4 and that’s just to keep it from looking dingy not to stop it from looking nasty. I will be purchasing these for every toilet at every house I ever live at from now on. I hate cleaning toilets and this helps so much. Well worth the money, easy to install, and I don’t have to clean as much! The only problem is there is a strong smell of chlorine with the included chemicals, but you could buy cheaper replacement tablets with bromine to get the same results with no smell. Although the smell does act as a timer for letting you know when to put in a new tab.

Works well bit pricey

I like this product, it really does keep the toilet clean. I wish it was more widely available, and I wish refills weren't so expensive, but it does the job, so I'm a slave to the product.
