THE MATTRESS โฌ๏ธ TOPPER DETERMINES QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE
Ladies and Gentlemen, LEND ME YOUR EARS. I do NOT want to sell you this product. I have some basic advice that can make it work like a dream. Sellers are motivated by profits so they're never going to tell you the key factor that determines whether this item is a good fit for you. The short version goes like this; If your mattress is saggy, worn, with dead springs then this topper WILL NOT HELP, it will MAKE THINGS WORSE! If you have a firm mattress and are looking for something to add support, it is a DREAM. I began this process with a worn out mattress. So I will share what happened below. At first, I was deeply disappointed to the point of anger. I wanted a FIRM mattress topper to make up for a sagging mattress. I also sleep hot and was counting on the "cooling gel" (or however they market this as reducing heat). Without a cover it's an insulator. As soon as I let it rise and air out, I installed it under a cotton sheet. I laid on the topper and it really felt like a pleasant cloud and it was cool. It was not the firm sensation I sought but I liked it. 15 minutes later and I noticed I was sinking deeper into the mattress than before. Then coolness rapidly turned into a heat trap! It must have similar material as wet suits as my body heat and moisture began to heat the material. Now, I was furious. As I became increasingly frustrated my body got warmer and warmer. All I could think about was "the reviews MUST have been bots!" I also dreaded the hassle of returning it due to the way it's packed etc. I spent hours the next day after a poor night's sleep looking for a Queen mattress under $350 that was extra firm but I didn't trust any of the reviews. I did remember reading one 5-Star review for this product (here) that I believe is up near the top in rankings due to its helpfulness. The person explains this exact point I'm trying to make very clearly. I'm trying drill this point home so you don't make the mistake I made. At one point I remembered that there was firmer queen mattress in my guest room. So I swapped the mattresses and placed the topper. Thats when my frustrations made a full 180ยฐ. It may be essential for one to purchase a special cover for this pad that provides a layer for air exchange so that it cools. In my case, a fine sheepskin blanket provided satisfactory airflow to negate the heating effect produced when the body's warmth is trapped in this material. I'm writing the review from the bed. It's ridiculously comfortable. I don't want to get up. Yet, please folks, understand it WILL NOT work to transform a soft mattress into a firm one. Don't make that mistake or you'll be so frustrated you won't have the energy to leave a negative review. You'll make your situation much worse! You'll also miss out on the chance to experience the effect when this product does work which is deserving of all the superlatives in the reviews. I didn't try this but the 3" is dense enough I suspect that placing it atop the box spring would have been better than trying to make it work in with my old worn out mattress. If you can afford to get a very basic firm queen mattress or swap one from your home then this can work. If not, just find a new mattress. There's no method I'm aware of to ressurect a bed where the springs are toast. I'm tall, muscular and heavy as lead. I have a fast metabolism and exercise often. I need a firm and supportive bed that's cool. If one takes a moment to consider that we sleep roughly half our lives, and that so much of our health is contingent on the quality of sleep we get, this is one of the few things money can buy to make a meaningful difference in your quality of life. Not necessarily "this" exact product. I'm sure there are products with far better design and materials where the effect ultimately supports multiple body frames perfectly. Perhaps there is a mattress topper that will work on a flimsy mattress just NOT this one. Yet the potential options I've found are expensive. I'm taking the time to write this to potentially save YOU time and frustration. I'll circle around to the top. I honestly think a piece of plywood would suffice over putting this on a saggy mattress. It DOES add additional support to the contours of the body IF you have a firm underlying foundation.

Good Quality
So far so good. There was no odor. It is very thick and soft. It fits my queen mattress perfectly. It does seem to have a cooling effect. it seems to have taken the pressure off my shoulders when side sleeping. It is very comfortable and when you lay on your back it is just nice and relaxing.

Very comfortable! (but maybe not ideal for all body types)
I personally love this mattress topper. The quality feels good, and the thickness adds noticeable comfort and pressure relief. It fits our mattress well and has stayed in place without shifting. My fiancรฉ weighs around 280 lbs pounds, and while he says it has improved his back pain, he said he does find it difficult to roll from his back to his side or vice versa. He jokes and says the foam โalmost swallows him.โ lol That said, he still likes it more than he expected to. He usually HATES soft mattresses, but he still seems to like this better every night. This topper does not trap moisture or heat, so mattress dryness and breathability have been great so far. We have only been using it for about a week, but it seems like it will be easily washable. Overall, this is a great option if you want a softer feel and pressure relief, but heavier sleepers may want to consider how much sink they prefer. Either way, for us, it has been a solid improvement.

So soft and comfortable with tons of support. Incredible and amazing!
I once bought a used twin size innerspring mattress on Craigslist for $100 and used that to replace the flimsy mattress that was on a hospital bed. It was comfortable. I would throw myself onto the mattress (sitting down position) and I would sleep comfortably and very well each night. But after 8-9 years, I started having severe back problems. I then threw away the mattress and the hospital bed. I then slept on the floor on a 3' x 6' yoga mat for a while. Then I bought a tall, metal, folding bed frame and I put the yoga mat on top of that. I thought the yoga mat was a good idea because it was near impossible to find any innerspring mattresses, and the ones that were in my price range looked like they would be terrible and bad for my back. I also did not have any confidence in hybrid mattresses and thought they would not offer enough support for my back. So even though the yoga mat was hard and uncomfortable, I thought that it was doable. I thought that I could also do some yoga mat exercises in bed. But I eventually gave up on the yoga mat exercises in bed and now I only do yoga mat exercises on a different yoga mat on the floor during the day. Eventually, I did get a twin size hybrid mattress, but there were some problems with it. One, it felt too soft and was a bit uncomfortable. And the edges did not have any support, despite having firmer foam in that area, so anytime I sat on the edge, I would slide right off. Also the thick hybrid mattress, despite being the thinnest one available made my bed too high. So I sold the mattress a day later and went back to using the yoga mat on the bed frame. But it oftentimes was a slow and painful process getting in and out of bed because of back and body aches. Lying on my side was painful on my left shoulder because I damaged my collarbone around 9 years ago. And sometimes, not often, my back would go out of alignment. So for a long time, I wondered what I should do. Should I get rid of the bed frame and get a shorter one and then get the twin size hybrid again? But I didn't want to do that. Should I get a down mattress topper? Should I get one of those mattress toppers that are mostly just cheap foam with only a one inch layer of memory foam on top? Or should I get a mattress topper that is 100% memory foam, like this one? Also, how thick should I get it? I never trusted memory foam. I felt like it would be a weird feeling having my body parts sink into the foam like that. But I decided to give it a try and I ordered a 3" memory foam mattress topper for $70 and it's been worth it. The sinking feeling doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it is a good thing because it puts my body in a more natural position instead of putting pressure on a lot of body parts. It's 100% comfortable getting in and out of bed now. I can now lie on my left side without my shoulder hurting. I can now sleep on my back, side, or stomach comfortable. I sleep better. I haven't had any back problems, and my back is recovering from my previous misalignment fast. And I haven't had any problems with heat retention in the mattress topper and my apartment temperature is usually 82 F in the winter time. So overall, very happy. I am tempted to believe that this memory foam topper on wooden planks would be better than a hybrid mattress because hybrid mattresses consist of a lot of cheap layers of foam that wear out fast and are just unnecessary fluff, whereas the memory foam is all one really needs I think. Also, my hybrid mattress I bought weighed like 250 lbs (exaggerating), but the memory foam topper and the yoga mat I am using underneath it (instead of wood planks) is so light and easy to move. I like that. I hate lifting or dragging around really heavy mattresses when I have a bad back from a roofing accident that I was in. And now I don't need to buy a shorter bed frame as the mattress topper didn't add a lot of height. UPDATE: It's been 10 days and I've been in pure heaven each and every day. I don't think I will ever have back problems again and even if I get back problems they will probably be solved as soon as I sleep on this memory foam mattress topper. UPDATE: It's been almost half a year, and I never slept on anything so comfortable in my life. It's so great. I want to use this for the rest of my life. I like it better than actual mattresses.

Surpassed 7 years of great sleepโhad to buy it a second time
Absolute game-changerโthis is actually my second time buying one! If you are on the fence about whether you need this, just buy it. Seriously. This is the second time Iโve purchased this exact mattress topper, and it is every bit as amazing as the first one. My first one still worked like a dream after almost 7 years of heavy useโit only got ruined because of an absolute nightmare of a move to my new house, where it got destroyed by a flood when the utility company decided to turn the water on while i was gone for three days traveling back to get another truck load. When I needed a replacement, I didn't even hesitate or look at other brands; I came straight back to reorder this exact model. It completely transforms a mediocre or too-firm mattress into an absolute cloud without breaking the bank. It offers that perfect balance of sinking in just enough to relieve pressure points (especially on the hips and shoulders) while still giving you enough support so you don't feel stuck, and it doesnโt trap an unreasonable amount of heat like some cheap memory foam pads do. If you want a fantastic night's sleep and want to breathe new life into an old mattress, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

If you have a mattress that's firm like stacked cardboard then this is the solution!
We went through two other mattress toppers that also said there were 3" and offered plush support. Those product descriptions were greatly skewed. Enter Linenspa for the rescue. When I received the box I had my doubts and looked at it with a slight side eye even before opening the box. Took it to our guest room and unpackaged everything. I was still in doubt due to the previous experiences with other toppers. I placed our sheets on top of the Linenspa 3" topper and was still a bit reserved. When I laid on the bed all was well. This mattress topper is not completely firm yet it offers a level of soaked in comfort that's difficult to explain. You just have to experience it for yourself. I have no doubt our guests next week will enjoy this bed. The LInenspa mattress topper is good for a 200 lb human. Since our actual mattress is one of those firm Zinio memory gel mattresses, this pairs so well with it and now feels like a normal bed. Great success and I may sneak in an afternoon nap here and there in the future. Well done!

Strong Chemical Odor, but Comfortable and Thick
The 3โ Twin XL mattress topper is nice and thick, providing a comfortable amount of cushioning and support. However, after two days of airing it out, there is still a noticeable chemical smell. Iโm hoping the odor continues to fade with additional time and ventilation, so Iโll keep letting it air out before making a final judgment. If youโre sensitive to smells, be aware that the off-gassing may take longer than expected to dissipate. On the positive side, the topper feels substantial and well-made, with plenty of thickness for added comfort.

So Comfortable & Worth It!
Iโm very happy with this memory foam mattress topper! It added the perfect amount of softness and comfort to my mattress without feeling too heavy or overly plush. It conforms nicely to the body and makes the bed feel much more cozy and supportive. It was easy to set up and fit my mattress well. After giving it some time to fully expand, it made a noticeable difference in how comfortable my bed feels.

Strong smell and not as shown in pictures
The smell was so strong even after airing out for afew days that it gave us headaches. The product also had holes in it and looked quite flimsy.. it was not the solid foam as pictured in the advertisement. Really too bad as we have had this product before but bought many years ago. I'm not too sure what happened in the manufacturing of this product to make it so different. Really disappointed as the previous product we had was a 10/10.
