Multi use!
If you're looking for solid SOLID stands, these aren't for you. They're great for what I need but they are plastic so they have a bit of give and are quite lightweight, but of course they do hold the lights without issue! The stands double as a selfie stick (inc padding to hold on to) if you attach a phone holder or have a standard camera thread to attach to (small camera, you're probably not getting a DSLR on it) USB powered, you can take them with you if you're an out and about filmmaker and power them off a regular old portable phone charger. They also come with blue, red, and yellow gels which are quite effective for light colour but I've not needed them much for my projects personally. oh and ofc they're like.. dimmable lights and that if you need those. The light quality is great when you add the included diffuser. A nice range of brightness too from just enough to see in the dark to light everything up that needs lighting up -- and there's two of them! While the build may feel a little flimsy (it is all plastic based) I believe as flimsy goes these will last quite a long time. My only real concern would be stepping on them if I'd left them on the floor. I do not think they'll break themselves in any way! You can also if you're quite silly attach one of the stands to the other and make a really long, really unstable, really flexible selfie stick but I definitely almost snapped something doing that.. Don't do that with anything expensive on the far end :)

Cheap build quality but they do the job
Build quality is cheap, the stands especially are extremely fragile I think they may actually be made out of painted spiders web - but you know what for this price you can't expect professional grade lighting - so as long as you know what you are buying then these are great value for money. If you treat them with care and are on a budget then these certainly do the job. The lights are easily bright enough for taking closeups of small things. The stands extend to a metre high too so you can use them as a hair light or to fill in some shadows on a face, probably not bright enough for a key light however. They also have the coloured filters which make them excellent for adding a bit of colour to the background of a shot which makes them super versatile and again, excellent value for the price. Just remember to treat the stands delicately! Also follow the instructions and plug them into a wall socket or powered USB hub. Don't just plug them into the USB on your laptop they might damage it.

Highly recommended for small scenes
Very good set for artificial lighting on small scenes. The set contains 2x lights with An attached USB cable including the switch and intensity control. The lights can be screwed to the tripod or selfie stick. 2x sets of those are included. I am using this set to light small interior scenes and the size is just perfect, very flexible and easy to set. For a larger scene they might be great to improve among natural light but they might be too small for a full scene. The best is how flexible and easy to set up they are. You can use them only on the small tripod, or assemble the tripod to the selfie stick to control height. I would say the selfie stick is the piece that could be improved the most. The system to control the height could be more solid. It is a bit unreliable, sometimes soft and easy and others quite hard. The filters included are just 3 basic colours, but can be combined and you could even craft more colours if you need to. I really recommend this set of lights as they are changing the thing a I can do with interior shots!

Does a good job but doubt will last long
Plastic is incredibly cheap and flimsy feeling I think even a bit of wind will knock these lights over so they definitely do not feel worth it for the price however with winter coming up and less daylight hours, these lights actually do do a good job of giving you well done images. The light is a nice soft white and when I adjust the warmth from my camera setting the pictures look like I’ve taken them in natural daylight. I also like how you can control the brightness and the length on the tripod but again it’s a bit flimsy and I still can’t figure out how to keep them in place so I just twist them till they stay in the place I want. I don’t think these will last me a long time but didn’t wanna break the bank at the mo so these will do for now

You must have a usb power system
These are very bright and the colours are fantastic yes not high but put on a table or on the floor facing for instance a bride or to give some colour to the wall behind her . But yes a double usb outlet to power these lights is needed not rechargable or have any battery compartments but very light to cary around not including power. You could be lucky and find sockets equipped with usb power outlets. I will use makita batteries with the torch and power take of adaptor. These could be used for work lighting and video lighting out in a field or away from the grid. and very reasonable priced at £32 for 2.

Effective background lights
I've been using these off of a usb c power bank to help with background lighting whilst using a softbox for key lighting, and they're wonderful! You get 4 different settings of brightness, along with three screens each to change the colour. Adding an RBG option would be wonderful! But for the price, these are great. Very small too so you can unpack and take these with you with ease

This is an initial review, meaning that these are my thoughts on the product after only a few days. If anything happens within the next few weeks to couple of months, I will update my review to reflect things. So far so good, they seem to get plenty bright and light my face quite well. In regards to the brightness, they offer 10 levels of brightness. When turned on, you can turn the brightness up and down in increments of 10% each with the lowest level of brightness being 10% and the highest being 100% making for 10 levels of brightness. When it comes to quality of the materials, I had thought about giving three stars, but decided that for the price that wasn't fair so I am giving four stars instead. Everything is plastic, so don't expect anything super high quality, but as far as plastic goes, it's more than acceptable material quality. The only metal component is the piece that connects the LED panel to the stand and the other connector at the top of the stand. I'm not sure what other people were complaining about in regards to them not being balanced when fully extended, but perhaps they were not standing them up properly or on a level surface, fully extended they stand up fine for me. However, the entire thing isn't all that heavy, so it's possible that if the environment you plan to put them in isn't all that stable with wind blowing, sloped surfaces, or moving surfaces, then they most likely will fall over and I would highly suggest rigging something of your own design to grab hold of the base, and weigh it down if you plan to use them in a non stable environment. In regards to versatility I am rating them at 4 stars, they aren't the most versatile, but they offer enough range of tilt and swivel based on the two connector pieces that you can have them shining at almost any angle, the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 in this aspect is due to their maximum height not being the tallest, and also because of what I mentioned above about the overall weight of the product. Laslty, I would highly suggest you head the specifications of the product when they state that these panels require 5v and 2.0A through USB. Connecting them to lower voltage, and lower amperage USB ports may result in the product not working right. Connecting them to USB that supplies more voltage and/or amperage than what they require that is cheaply made and does not properly downstep the voltage and amperage and thusly properly regulate the power output to only be what the device is asking for, will most likely result in you burning them out and destroying them. So I would highly recommend that whatever USB ports you plan to plug them into, you make sure that they supply at least 5v and 2.0A and that if they supply more, that they are properly built to downstep to only provide what is being asked of it by the device. I personally am plugging them into a 2 port USB wall adapter that supplies up to 5v and 2.1A but that I know is quality built and will downstep itself to only provide what is being asked of it by a device that requires less than what it can supply. If interested in what USB wall adapter I use, it is the Ailkin brand here on Amazon, and it is a 3 pack for $11. As for the filters you get the following: Two of each, one for each panel. Red, Blue, Yellow, and White. The red, blue, and yellow filters are thin and mostly transparent, allowing for light to pass through easily while coloring the light. The white however is thicker plastic that is softened white and used as a diffusion layer to diffuse the light coming out of the panel. While the white diffusion panel is in place, there is only enough room for you to slide a single colored filter in front of it, so this means that if you wanted to double up on a single color, or mix two or all three of the colors together on the light, you would have to remove the diffusion panel from the light, but that is OK because once you have more than one colored layer installed it ends up diffusing the light source by just enough that it's not super harsh on the subject you are lighting. So to summarize: They are bright. Overall decently built for the price, but fairly light weight. You get two of them for such a low price. They are powered off of USB, making them more versatile since you can plug them into the USB ports on a PC, or can plug them into a 2 port USB wall adapter like me, making them not have to take up two power outlets with fatter brick connectors or anything like that. So all in all I give these a 5 star rating for what you're getting and for the price, and I would highly recommend these for the entry level budget photographer if they need something quick and cheap to use, but mostly for anyone who's on a tight budget that wants to have good lighting for either live streaming, or making YouTube videos. As stated at the beginning, this is an initial review, and if anything happens within the next few weeks to couple of months, I will update this review. Thanks for reading. -UPDATE- It's been 7 months and they still work perfectly fine, granted, they never move or get unplugged from where I've had them at my desk so there's no wear and tear from moving them around.
