This Crucial 64GB Kit (2X32GB) DDR4 2666 MT/s CL19 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT2K32G4SFD8266 - works with the 2 each 4 GB 1Rx16 (single rank) SK Hynix RAM modules (each Part Number: HMA851S6CJR6N-VK) supplied by Apple in my 2019 iMac 27 inch 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 system purchased from Apple in January 2020. The Amazon description notes that the 2 each 32 GB Crucial (Micron) RAM modules (each Part Number: 16ATF4G64HZ-2G6B2) are supposed to be "Single Rank", but they are clearly marked as "2Rx8" (dual rank) on the attached label. Utilizing existing 2 x 4 GB modules, 72 GB RAM total (all running at 2667 MHz) was installed in the following configuration (Bank 0 at bottom of cavity) in about 15 minutes: BANK 0/Channel A-DIMM0 32 GB Crucial, BANK 1/Channel A-DIMM1 4 GB SK Hynix, BANK 2/Channel B-DIMM0 32 GB Crucial, BANK 3/Channel B-DIMM1 4 GB SK Hynix. The initial system boot after RAM installation took at least 30 seconds longer than usual, but subsequent boots have been quick. Despite not being Single Rank modules as advertised, I'm happy that I'm able to use this kit with my existing Apple provided RAM at full speed. Wow, what a difference. My Dell XPS 15 was getting really sluggish. It had 16GB of ram but I was sitting at 85% or higher of memory usage. Did some research and found that the max memory I can have is 64GB so I bought this kit and my PC is WAY more snappy and responsive. Now even when I start pushing the limits with Msft Teams, Outlook, several webpages, Powerpoint and more running, it gets up to about 30% memory usage. I have not tried editing videos yet but I suspect that will work smoothly given it's snappy with all the other memory hogging applications that I've run simultaneously. I've worked in the tech space for years (including at a major CPU company) and know Crucial is a great quality memory supplier. While researching kits, I saw a LOT of no name brand solutions but knowing how important memory is in the stable operation of a PC, I didn't want to trust my system to low grade memory chips. Overall, very happy with this memory kit...it's made a big difference in performance on my laptop.

Installed perfectly in my 2019 iMac 27" 5K unit. Went from 8GB as received to 72GB in a matter of minutes. No issues at all after more than 18 months of heavy use in a developer machine -- simulators, in-circuit emulators, virtual machines, etc. Way cheaper than buying Apple memory. Crucial uses Micron chips, same as Apple.

Bought as an upgrade for my laptop MSI GL75 9SDK Started working right after installation without any tuning. CPU-Z shows full match to the described characteristics. Dual-channel mode just works. The system looks to be pretty stable and fast. Wrt performance it's probably better to buy a smaller volume bars which may come with smaller timings, but 19 is already pretty good IMO. I any case I've bought this pack to have enough volume but not enough speed, and I've got exactly what was expecting. It seems odd that Crucial customer support consistently says that this RAM is not designed for iMac, yet the RAM they suggest is $100 more. I ordered RAM designed for iMac and this RAM, and they both work. I returned the Mac specific RAM because it was more expensive and why use it if this works just fine. Plus, the other RAM was an off-brand and this was under $300 for 64GB. I kept and rearranged the 8GB RAM, so now I have 72GB RAM, which made an instant performance difference in every way. It took me a few minutes to figure out the correct orientation. I banked the two new memory cards together and the original ones together, and it booted up without any issue. Everything is operating as it should. If you have an iMac or any Mac that accepts this type of memory, be confident that it will work just fine, contrary to what Crucial customer support is trained to say.

very quick shipping and well packed. This RAM module CT2K32G4SFD8266 (64GB Kit (32GBx2) DDR4 2666 MT/S CL19 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory) is compatible with Mac Mini 2018-2020 Intel i5 CPU version. It is a bit tricky to install that you will need Torx T6 Security Screwdriver (a.k.a. T6H or TR6) to remove back metal cover, wifi antenna cable, fan, and use T10 to remove 2 screws on motherboard and slid the MB out of chassis. Then use T5 to remove metal RAM shield. When install the new module, need to slid the module into slot and push a bit harder ensuring pins are all the way into the slots, then press the top edge of RAM module down toward the motherboard until the retaining clips snap in place. Finally reverse the procedure putting everything back to place and enjoy the RAM :)

I got those for my new latest iMac 27 Mac, much cheaper than Apple's. Tried just both as a pair and combined with Apples 8gb (4x2) with a total of 72 gb Ram!!! Working great on both configuration, just check before installing what is the best combination installed slots, especially when installing with different ram!

It install perfectly (it was a lot harder to open the back cover of my MSI). Turned on machine and recognize the 64GB immediately. I use this computer for machine virtualization, so memory limits the amount of machines running at the same time. I also do some video, but i have not tested how much faster it runs with more memory.

Ram immédiatement reconnue par mon iMac 2020, installée à la place des barrettes d’origine car il vaut mieux éviter de les mélanger. Inutile d’acheter les barrettes Crucial ‘spécial Mac’ qui coûtent 100€ de plus, celles-ci fonctionnent très bien.

La he comprado 2 veces, instalada en el iMAC 2020, ahora con 128GB funciona muy bien; los primeros 64GB comprados en 2021, y ningún problema, los siguientes 64GB a finales de Diciembre 2022

I got the 64GB modules (32gb x 2) during a holiday sale, upgraded my Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen2 from 16gb (2x8gb) to these and has been flawless. Only problem is since the amount of RAM is so large it delays the wake from sleep to around 30-60seconds but that's not a fault of these modules. Having 64GB ram is a bit overkill but I got them for only $50 more than 32GB ram normally costs so I'm pretty happy with my purchase. If you find these for a good price you can also use them on your desktop PC by getting a SODIMM to DIMM adaptor as the pin out is the same just the physical size is different so these adaptors will convert it for you.
