So Far So Good!
I saw the good and bad reviews and decided to give it a try. I got the Blaster 2000, and I have decent water pressure (hose fills 5 gallon bucket in exactly 45 seconds, I've seen some folks say that's not very good but it seems pretty good to me!). It does use kind-of a lot of water, and you have to turn the filter around halfway through (I did 3 minutes each side), the pressure may not be as strong as a handheld sprayer, and it may not clean the filter quite as well as a handheld sprayer, but it still does the job and the filters came out clean enough. If it doesn't clean the filter well enough after a few minutes you can leave it on a little longer and it'll get cleaner the longer you leave it on. It cleans the filter from below so the dirt comes out more easily. As far as the extra water it uses, well you can run it on your lawn or under a tree and it'll saturate the ground for ya! Always helpful in hot sunny dry Texas. The biggest advantage is the convenience - it's enormously helpful to not have to spend as much time cleaning the filters manually each time, and it allows you to multi-task! For that reason alone it's worth it to me. The device seems sturdy enough, is very lightweight, and seems made out of good material. It didn't fall apart when I picked it up, and has held together after a few uses. There may be a few weak links in the unit but so far has worked fine for my 4 filters. As with anything I guess just don't bang it around too often, don't kick it or play baseball with it - just be gentle and I think it should hold up.

DOES NOT WORK.
First off, if you get the large one, it only has jets on half of it. You have to flip the filter and run two cycles.Secondly, as you can see, where the jets meet, they do not overlap, so there are thick lines of dirt that are untouched, so I will have to re-clean anyway. Finally, as the instructions dictate, it takes 5-8 minutes to run a cycle. My filter has 4 of these cartridges. Using some quick math;5min X 2 Sides X 4 Filters = 40 min.OR8 Min X 2 sides X 4 Filters = 1 Hour 4 Min.It usually takes me 30-45 minutes to clean them all, so this takes an hour, with reloading it 8 times (4 cartridges, 2 sides), and I will still have to clean them. I am not independently wealthy enough to cover the cost of this water bill LOL.To the point, does a terrible job, takes forever, and I feel falsely advertising the size of the cartridge it works. Will be looking for a refund.

The good, the bad, and the good.
It cleans pretty good, especially if you clean your filters more frequently. Now the bad. If you have trees and other plants around your pool and constantly haven't to clean up from the debris that falls from each, i.e., small seeds leaves, pollen, etc., the water jets are not strong enough to dig them out between the pleats, and only a garden hose will do that, well, come close to doing it any way. And now the good again. There are times when I don't have so much incoming debris. I can extend the cleaning periods in between. I do have Arizona dust and that darkens the pleats, but the jets will clean that out. It' was worth it just for that. It sure beats standing all bent over with the garden hose.

Best thing since sliced bread
This thin saved me a bunch of time. Pulled one cartridge and got it started by the time I got back with two more it was time to flip. I'd say each filter took maybe 6 minutes. I was busy showing it off to my neighbor who also has a pool. Just ran till the water coming off of it was clear. This was by far the fastest and easiest cleaning I've done.

Works well. cleans 80-90% of the dirt off
I used this for the first time. Works very well. Put it on for 5 minutes. flipped and finished. Lots of junk came out. water started running clear. Used the hose after and I would say it got 80-90% of the dirt out. Could easily have just put it back and been fine. When I used the hose alone I had to go over the cartridge several times. After using the Blaster, one quick rinse with the hose was enough. I may cover a couple of the holes to see if I can get the jets to output more pressure. I have excellent water pressure. No issues at all with spinning.Definitely worth the money.Durability yet to be seen. seems reasonably well constructed.

Get this!
The media could not be loaded. I know you're on the fence and wondering if this is a good idea to solve the dreaded task of cleaning your pool filters. Let me answer that question for you. Yes, you should get this. I live in an area which requires me to clean my pool filters at least every 2 months year round due to pollen, seeds, bugs, etc getting in my pool. Cleaning my filters was a minimum 45 min task of being bent over and constantly spraying the filters to wash them out. Now, I set this up which take 15 seconds, I get my filters out which may take me 5 mins and then I set one on this thing, turn on the hose and walk away for 5 mins to do something else. While it may still take me 30-45 mins to clean my filters and get everything back together, the process is now mostly automated with no binding and hosing on my part. So you deserve it. Treat yourself and make your life easier, at least for a few days a year. BTW, no I did not get this product free although this review deserves it. This was worth the money and if mine ever breaks which I doubt, I'll buy another one.

Fell apart completely but worked okay
This thing fell apart just a week after the end of the return period. You can actually feel the glue at the ends of the two blue aluminum pieces. They clearly did not use anything either water resistant or heat resistant. Mind you I kept this thing stored in the shade. It was never exposed to the sun for more than 15 minutes every week or so.Does it work? Kind of. The other reviewers suggestion to make sure to use it at least once per week seems to have helped. I would recommend a deep cleaning once before starting to use this thing so you can start with the cleanest possible filter because as other reviewers had mentioned this thing will not get too deep into the pleats. However the quality control here is extremely lacking. We're going to probably use proper waterproof epoxy to fix it but that's an added cost you should have been done in the first place.
