Whys the water on my machine taking ages to filter through

Make sure you use the correct filter (must be Brita Maxtra) and follow the preparation instructions, the filter needs to be totally submerged in a jug of water until no more bubble come up and then filter a full tank twice before using the filtered water, this will ensure no air bubbles in the filter layers and remove any loose particles from the production process, remember to change monthly if in a hard water area or 3 monthly if in a soft water area - hope this helps

Unfortunately the instruction that come with the machine are not clear at all. I got the gist of it from the instructions then worked it out for myself.
If you have a specific question someone who has the machine should be able to answer your questions.
* You do not have to use a britta filter but you will need to descale more often.
* To set a program press the strength of your preferred drink then press the size of cup you prefer then keeping your finger on one of the numbered buttons until the lights on the top and right of the panel go off then on again then you have programed your preferred strength and cup size then remove your finger.
* Once you have set your program you can then press the number then the big button in the centre for your selected drink strength and cup size.

This is for water filter in tank you press start when you put new filter into tank.
It measures when water cartridge requires changing.
I highly recommend d this machine.*****Coffee or hot chocolate tastes amazing.
