So you can get a good idea of its look. roll it around in your fingers the piece of filler as to warm it up before putting it in the chip or crack. First sand around the area first with like 180 grit first to give it an area to grip on to. Good luck. **Q: Can it be used as longterm filler for gaps in old plank floors?** A: To a degree. Very little shrinkage, but i would not fill anything over say 3/16". And if it is deep you will want to use backer rod.
