3 out of 12 came with defects
Three out of the 12 balls came with a defect. The defect is a small dimple on the surface of the ball where the plastic is not as thick and not as textured as the rest of the ball (see attached images). I've read a lot of great reviews on other sites on the quality of these balls. They are supposed to be the highest quality poly ball, with outstanding durability, roundness, and consistency. Getting 25% of them with a visible defect is the reason for the 1-star review.Shipping was fine. They took 3-weeks to ship from Thailand to the USA.

Don't buy! This is the fake version!
Don't buy! This is the fake version of Nittaku 3-star balls. I've played for long time and I knew this for a fact when I played with these balls. They are super light and have funny feeling when you hit them. The price is too expensive to get fake balls. Buyers beware!!!

Great quality!
If you are just playing around for fun then you don't really need to get these. Given that, for serious play these are perfect! I play in a league 2x a week and these hold up pretty well to tons of game time. Some people have said there isnt much difference in 3 star balls but once you use these for a bit you will definitely not want to go back to bargain balls again.

Best Balls I’ve Found!
Excellent playing balls. Seamless, but provide more “grip” for handling and spin than Butterfly balls. Anyone who has found better balls, please advise.

I bought these balls hoping to get the best available balls for table tennis play
I bought these balls hoping to get the best available balls for table tennis play. All the balls turned out to be wobbly or very improper bounce. I eventually bought the balls from a different reputable table tennis online store.

Cheap made balls
I don't know this is a real fake ball or not. This production is very light weight, and it is not seems to be high quality made. The ball is not really bouncy.

but great ping pong balls
Expensive, but great ping pong balls. If you are a serious ping pong player, this is a great investment and they last longer than other 3 star balls.

The standard for discerning players!
I think that this is the best plastic ball available. Don't be fooled by the Nittaku SHA 3 star balls that are made in China. The premium balls made in Japan are in a whole class above the Chinese balls.
