This memory made a difference for me by far over a crucial stick with a lower MHZ. For people not familiar I would suggest getting dual pairs every single time like this, you don't want any kind of bottlenecking going on. It's easy to install but it depends on your motherboard, it basically just clicks in. Very impressed for the price.

I have an old Dell Inspiron 3670 with an i5 processor and only 8 GB of RAM. It has been getting slower and slower over the years, so I decided to upgrade my RAM and this seemed like it would work. The CORSAIR RAM looks and feels quality. It has a nice metal casing on it. There is some plastic over the logo on the sticks -- don't forget to peel that off! Installation was fairly easy. I removed the old 8 GB stick, and inserted the new 16 GB sticks in the slots and clipped them in. I did make the mistake of not pushing one of the sticks all the way in on my first go, so my computer had a flashing orange light when I turned it on. So I just opened the PC back up and pressed a bit harder on the sticks to make sure they were all the way in. After plugging my computer back in, it booted up just fine, and now it's so much faster!

Upgraded from 8 GB Ram to 32. Popped right in and worked immediately. Performance on games was greatly increased. Decent price.

I was getting out of memory crashes under intense gaming load with 8 GB so I decided to upgrade to 32 GB. I have an MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX so I went to PCPartPicker and selected this memory from the compatible memory list. Unfortunately it didn't work at first, just 3 long beeps and I could tell my computer wasn't happy. My bios release date was from 2023 and I saw new releases were available. I suspected that the new memory wasn't defined in the software at the time so I downloaded the updated bios and driver software from the MSI website. Make sure the title of your board matches the title of your board on the website exactly and follow the instructions to the letter. I left off MAX the first time so it didn't see the file. Looks like each board has a specific file it looks for, otherwise it won't load it. So I flashed the bios, updated the drivers and installed one of the memory sticks. It booted into bios and I had to set the memory speed, then it booted again and went into windows. Shutdown, added second memory stick, repeated the process again and it works fine now. I am assuming that the new memory wasn't defined in my old bios, but I can't be completely sure. However it works now, so it's something to think about if you have a similar issue. Thank you.

I just recently built my new PC. I am doing video editing for my new YouTube page. I needed fast memory. When I got everything physically installed, I went in to the BIOS of my MSI B550 board and set the options. Talk about OPTIONS! This memory runs fast even when overclocking. I chose to keep the memory at the default it is set for. The memory runs a little hotter when I am editing, there is no question. The fans in my case do a good job of cooling, so its not a big issue. I have always bought Corsair memory and I am happy I bought this. It was on sale on Prime Day and I am glad I got it. I think I will buy another 32GB on Black Friday if the price drops again. For video editing, you can't have too much memory :) Bottom Line: Buy it!
