co2CREA Hard Case Replacement for Seagate Expansion 1TB 2TB 4TB Portable External Hard Drive

I bought this as I am a college student and I needed something to hold my hard drive and cables for it (if you have a MacBook you get it) I got this for my G-Drive. I was worried it would be too big & loose for it since the G-drives are very slim external hard drives. It fits it perfectly!! I was also pleasantly surprised it felt so well made. The zippers are really nice, I’m a stickler for my things to stay nice and cases that are sturdy are the key for that! This is a hefty case with nice details and great zippers. I am beyond happy with this purchase. I included a video of the case in action. I can’t wait to keep trying this out. Also the padding inside is packed pretty well! I hate buying things like this and the padding feels like a cotton ball, this case is not that way. This is really a wonderful case. I’m so surprised and I am really happy with my purchase. If I could tell everyone to purchase this I would. Hard drives are expensive vital equipment for many of us, and this bad boy does the job of protecting mine!

Very affordable protection for a WD external drive. Well built, provides secured, padded protection, can store both the drive and the associated cord, zipper works nicely, has a carry handle, and even two internal pockets big enough for holding extra SD cards, if you had cards you also wanted to store inside this case. The "hard" shell does have some flex and give, so, no, this would likely not do much for any super serious situation, but, short of driving a car over it, or someone leaping up and down on it while wearing hiking boots, I think it will be more than sufficient for most ordinary daily protection needs. I like that the drive is secured behind elastic, with a padded cover over it, so some good drop protection with this case. Keeps it free of dust, keeps the cord with the drive, and is just a great case! Easy five stars here, and highly recommend!

This case fits the Seagate Backup Plus Slim external hard drive very well. The EHD is secured by two elastic bands that slide over the device, then a padded flap folds onto the EHD. The lining of the case that the drive lays on is nicely padded. There is a large, netted pocket attached to the other side of the case. There are two small pockets on the up-facing side of the padded flap. It comes with a wrist strap but the clasp is not well made. A safer way to carry the case is with the carabiner clip that is attached to the case via a short leather strap that is permanently snapped onto the case. However, the other side of the snap is in the compartment for the EHD and the fabric that covers the snap is very thin. The zipper enclosure has two slider bodies so the case can open from either end. My one big complaint is that the case is not has hard as I had hoped; with very little effort I can twist and bend the lid. Is this the best case one could buy? No, but my EHD, that I pretty much leave at home, will be well protected. I've traveled once with the case and there were no issues. For the person who takes an EHD everywhere, under a lot of different circumstances (i.e. biking with EHD in a shoulder bag, don't use a hard briefcase), you probably should get a harder case.

I always keep my WD MyPassport Ultra enclosed in this case whenever I use it. Once, I accidentally kicked it from my bed onto the hard tile floor below. I was instantly worried that the HDD had been damaged and that something inside got physically altered or loosened up. I got more worried when it became very sensitive to movement and started disconnecting from my laptop whenever I moved it or the USB cord around even slightly - the enclosure or the port could have been damaged. But, I ran all the WD Utilities tests and they found no issues, it passed the SMART status etc. I replaced the cord with a new one and that was the solution, thankfully! I'm very grateful that this case was able to protect my HDD, it really stood up to the test. I have no doubt that if it wasn't enclosed in this case when it fell that it would've had a rough impact and gotten damaged (it's especially vulnerable when in use). It's a good idea to keep your HDD zipped up inside whenever you use it, you never know what can happen! You don't need to look for a more expensive case than this, it's premium-quality and provides as much physical protection as possible.

Fits my WD 2TB Ultra Metal Edition perfectly. Zipper is nice quality and it comes with little black carabiner if I wanted to hook it to the outside of my backpack or in the inside of my bag so it wouldn't get jostled around. The case has an extra layer of cushioning inside that lays over the HD once its placed into spot. I think this is great since my HD is metal and placing the cord directly on top of the HD would potentially lead to scratches. Overall, the case feels sturdy enough that if I dropped it, my HD would have no damage. I haven't tested this and hopefully won't have to in the future. I use the case for travel and feel confident when I place the HD, in case, in my luggage even knowing that my suitcase will undoubtedly be thrown around and potentially "accidentally" land on the cement in transit from the terminal to the plane. Great quality for the price. Would recommend.

This fit my new WD passport HD perfectly and looks to be made well. I am hoping to protect it from any falls, as I lost all my data on a previous drive for the same reason, so decided to get a padded case to protect my new drive. I do wish there were a few more colour options to match the colours of the WD hard drives (When you have many drives colours help to quickly grab the correct one) but I am happy it fits and seems to be of good quality, so that is foremost.
