Yes it does stay up. Fits comfortably...not too tight on me which I like.

Probably. I think it's on the small side. It fits me fine. I'm '6 1", but have a disproportionately small head.

What are the washing instructions as i do not want it to shrink

Sorry I sent mine back it was too tight. Generally if you're worried about washing a fabric, use 30 degrees or cold water, use a delicate washing liquid and either wash by hand or a delicate/wool wash if you're putting it in a machine.

Just measured the circumferance of my head.. 64cm. Scary ! Will this product fit ?

I measured the circumference of the 'snood' part (the part that you pull up over your lower face. It was about 66cm, so you'd be cutting it quite close, but you ought to fit! The thinnest circumference on the whole thing is 66cm (that's the circumference of the neck and also the circumference of the snood). Extra piece of info: the material isn't elasticated, so it doesn't stretch, apart from the tiny bit of give you'd expect from a cloth like fleece.
