Great for rabbit litter boxes
I’ve bought this litter many times, and it has worked very well for my rabbit’s litter box. The paper pellets absorb a lot and do a good job keeping odors to a minimum, which makes cleanup much easier. In my experience, these pellets work better than wood shavings or crumbled paper bedding. They hold up well, are unscented, and have been a reliable choice for daily use. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and will keep buying it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable litter option for rabbits.

Eco-Friendly Litter That Truly Works — Five Stars!
I’m so impressed with Fresh News Recycled Paper Original Pellet Cat Litter, 12 Pound! This non-clumping recycled paper litter has made a real difference for our cat’s litter box routine. The pellets are soft yet absorbent, and they do a great job controlling moisture and reducing odors without any added scents — a huge plus for both pets and people who prefer unscented options. I love that it’s virtually dust-free and lightweight, so it’s cleaner to pour and easier on our cat’s paws compared to traditional clay litters. Tracking around the house is minimal too, which keeps everything tidier. Best of all, this litter feels safer and more environmentally responsible because it’s made from 100% recycled paper. Between the performance and eco-friendliness, it’s definitely earned a five-star rating from me!

Great for my special needs cat.
My cat requires a pellet litter due to his disability and this one is economical and gets the job done! Its absorption is satisfactory and it does not disintegrate into small particles or gross mush once wetted. I've tried more expensive pellet litters and this is actually the one that works best for my little guy!

Not a reflection of product quality
Not a problem with the product. Exactly as advertised....my cats have just made it clear they prefer their clay litter and do not like pellets.

Good replacement for Yesterday's News
The order page says "4 lbs", but the bags I got were actually 12 lbs each, so the per pound price is a little high, but not too bad. My rescued cat was declawed when we got her from the SPCA. Her front paws are very sensitive and this pellet litter ticks all the boxes. It's unscented, yet seems to keep the ammonia scent low and it is low tracking. It holds together as well as "Yesterday's News" did. The pellets do partially fall apart with the pee, but it's worth it for my kitty's comfort. When scooping, I use a pellet scooper with larger holes for the solid waste and a separate scoop to catch the wet and partially disintegrated pellets. I bought for $9.98 last week and now it's gone up to over 16.00, but it's still worth it... At least until my local pet store finds a good replacement for Yesterday's News. I'll try to add a video soon.

Didn't work at all.
Overall, I am severely disappointed with this. I bought it in an attempt to be more eco-friendly. I hate having to use clay litter. I bought it after reading through the reviews. I'd like to say outright that I knew going in some of the challenges I'd have to deal with switching from clumping clay litter to this. It is unscented, so it may smell a little worse than other stuff, and I can see how you'd have to clean it out more regularly. I was prepared for this, but apparently not enough. My biggest concern with this is that the pellets are too large to sift through regular scoopers. I had 2 different ones and neither worked. I'd have to buy a special one and I don't even know where to start looking for something like that without buying them and doing trial-and-error. Secondly, I don't see how it works at all. Maybe my cats don't pee that much or something, or the pellets absorb better than I thought because the poo just dried out not sticking to anything. I've used something similar in the past and I remember the pellets softening or breaking down when absorbing pee. This didn't seem to do that. OR it absorbs better than I anticipated. Either way, I couldn't really scoop anything properly given the scooper I was using so I had to either scoop everything out or just scoop the poo separately and leave everything else. The cats didn't seem too mind it too much, but they were confused by it at first. They also seemed annoyed that it didn't cover as well as the old stuff and seemed to cry about it more than usual. On the plus side, it didn't scatter or leave as much of a mess as regular clay litter. I'd see a stray pellet every once and awhile, but for the most part everything was clean around the box. In the end it was completely ineffective, and I had to literally throw out the entire bag. It was a COMPLETE waste of my money. I couldn't even get use out of the one bag I bought and ended up having to buy a box of the old stuff after a week. Apparently lots of people have a great experience with this, and maybe others will too, but I definitely did not. I am very disappointed in the product and that I am having to resort to something that doesn't decompose like this does, but until I find something that works even remotely well, I'll have to stick with what I have.

Great litter! .... Update with useful note ...
I really like this litter and my six month old kittens don't seem to mind it ... no accidents! I like it because it absorbs liquid well and doesn't leave a smell ... it's a bit more time consuming to clean up the little pellets (as when they're dirty, they're not that much darker in color than the clean litter) but it's worth the time not to have the dust that normal, clumping litter has. My kittens attempt to cover their poop but it doesn't work well: this litter does not cover up that smell, either. Since they tend to go one after the other at the same time each day, it's little work to clean it up quickly. This litter also does not track everywhere ... the pellets are easily picked up and don't adhere to the kittens feet. Overall, I really like it and will be donating the clumping litter I have left to my local shelter. UPDATE: Just be aware ... I have papers to be shred in a plastic crate ... my girl decided it was the second litter box (#1 thankfully) but that's not good. So keep this in mind if you have papers hanging around anywhere ... the cats may decide it smells like this litter and use your pile for theirs! Lesson learned ... I now keep shredding in a closed box ... hopefully, my little girl will learn, too!

No tracking
I’ve been using the Fresh News Post Consumer Paper Pellet Cat Litter for a while now, and I’m mostly satisfied with it. First off, there’s no tracking at all, which is a huge plus. My floors have never been cleaner since switching to this litter. Also, there’s practically no smell, which is a blessing, especially in a smaller apartment. My cat took to it right away and seems to like it, which is always the most important thing. The pellets are soft enough for her paws, and she doesn’t seem to mind the change from our previous litter. However, I did notice one downside. Because this litter is organic, it seems to attract flies more easily, especially if there are already some in the area. I’ve had a few instances where flies decided to breed in the litter box, which wasn’t an issue with other types of litter I’ve used. It’s something to keep in mind if you live in a place where flies might be a problem. Overall, I’m happy with this product and would recommend it, just be aware of the potential for flies if that’s something you might have to deal with.

No absorbe nada. Terminamos regalando el resto. Mi hija simplemente usará arena normal en su viaje.
