Telescopic Kids Fishing Pole with Float and Hooks

This is a very handy little pole for fishing from kayaks. The reel is not so great, but what can you expect for the price. I plan to replace the reel with something a little bit more substantial, but for now am using it to catch my limit of blue gills!

This product is really low quality IMO. I have purchased several telescopic beginner fishing sets in the past, due to their handy nature. These kits have all been in the $20 range. I also read the reviews of this kit, which were good on Amazon. I was very disappointed with the build and materials quality. Two of the rod guides fell off in the undamaged package. Compared to previously purchased telescopic beginner rods, it is clear that this rod would not stand up to much use. Even if rod arrived in perfect condition, it hard to imagine this plastic toy functioning as a fishing rod. I can say this - the company followed up via email after the order. I explained the issues I have with their product. I will update if I hear anything.

Great first time fishing gear

Got this for free as a product review. Item perfect for kids first fishing set! Packaging could look a little bit nicer

It is a great learning tool for bigger kids. The little kids have the toy ones but the bigger kids really didn't have a learning tool until now.

The smallest hole fell off when opening it out of the package. Had to super glue it back on. I threw out the hook and weights because I thought they might contain lead. Revised: Reel broke first day.

Pretty cool product but built extremely cheap.

Grandson was so excited to find out he got the fishing pole he wanted. Haven't used it yet as it was a Christmas present
