Basic hat, fits well, looks good! Many reviewers complained of a smoke smell, I saw the seller addressed this is their description and claimed that would no longer happen so I went ahead and ordered one. My hat arrived and I opened the package and there was NO smoke smell. Hat did have a very SLIGHT smell but it’s more of a manufacturing smell? I hand washed the hat in cold water to get any remaining dye / smell off (I ordered the black hat and I have light blonde hair so I wanted to make sure no dye would transfer to my head) and let hat hang to dry and the factory smell is gone and the color appears to be locked in. I will probably buy more colors in the future!

The quality of the hat is good. The color matched spot on. Wear and tear has been good. I put vinyl on my hat and it’s holding up well. It’s an adult hat but I have my daughter modeling it just for the picture

I really wish that I would have read more reviews.The cigarette smoke smell took me back to the chain-smoking 80's. It was very very strong smelling.Also, the dye started to leave stains on my hands straight out of the package.I threw it in a cold-water wash to avoid shrinking it (it was already a bit small) and hung it to dry.The dye only rubs off a little from the bill now, and the smoke smell is gone.If you don't have a regular-small size head (don't forget to include hair in measurements) than this hat won't fit very well at all.I guess for ten bucks what can you expect? At least my son has a new hat out of this situation.

This hat absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke upon arrival. I give three stars for the fact that I threw it right into the wash and it got put in the dryer as well. Held up great to machine wash and dry. But still - EW the SMELL

It's super cute and it fits my head but I'm considering returning it for a refund because it smells so heavily of cigarette smoke. The box didn't smell, I didn't smell anything until I took it out of the plastic so they might wanna work on that cause I don't want a hot that smells so strongly of cigarette smoke that it gives me a headache.

Love this hat. I was worried about all the reviews about the cigarette smell, but mine did not smell.So I bought 2 more & they did not smell either.

Super cute hat for a great price. The adjustable strap in the back makes sizing flexible and I love the already broken in look/feel. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something stylish when you don't want to do your hair!

This cap is my favorite out of many I own. Caps costing over three times as much are not as well made an do not fit as well. I love the "washed" look of the fabric and the weight is perfect and very comfortable. Even after being crushed for travel, this cap goes back to it's original shape with no obvious wrinkles.Mine is green but I'm buying several in other colors.
