I originally bought this to be mounted in the wall, but decided against this once received. The only mounting option is on the rear, and that would have caused anchors to protrude through that wall to the other room. I also did not want to restrict airflow. It turned into an easy on-wall installation and has a floating appearance that hides the power outlet. The many available options for color and speed give my household the exact look and feel we want for any mood. A backup heat source is great to have, even if it is limited in power.I also have a sound bar sitting on top, taking advantage of the opportunity since our TV is wall-mounted as well. This might not be recommended for fire safety, but the heat (when on) blows out of the front very efficiently so I'm not concerned.Be warned that there are gaps in the two top corner holes that children can stick small, thin objects into and sit on the rock display for all to see.

Got this from amazon warehouse at a great price. I would have rather had a 42", but my fireplace has jutting stones that wouldn't have let it fit in the fireplace hole. Built an enclosure to go in fireplace with some 2 x 4's, and then added a thin wooden covering. (Before that, I enclosed the real fireplace with some insulation behind this at the bottom of flue. It took a little work, but it turned out awesome!!! We are really happy with it. Doesn't put out a hella heat, but after a while it will help to warm a room, which we are happy with. Many colors and options for flames, havent even checked them all out yet. We just like the ambiance and look of it, as we were deciding what to do with the fireplace.....as you can see in the pics, I think looks nice, if you like this kind of thing. It's not like a real fire, so if you're looking for that, look somewhere else. We added a few pieces of timber to somewhat offset the appearance. I think it works. I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of insert!! Price we paid couldn't be beat...

Made a reading nook in an enclosed porch. Used the backside of the actual fireplace to hang this.Instructions are fairly easy. It did take two of us of to figure how to take the glass off initially. Directions illustration is a dark picture. Otherwise we had it up in less than 30 min and working.It’s quiet and really nice flame and color options. I’ve seen better but for the money this is a very nice unit.Will serve a nice purpose.

We enjoy the look and features. Mounting it can be a little challenging. It believe the mounting process could be improved, but overall we were pleased.

I had it installed into my walling like the many different color combinations. You can fell the heat if turned on but it's not going to heat up your house or apt unless maybe you live in a studio and let it run for a long time. I love it! Enjoy the ambience when I'm chillin watching a movie or whatever. I've had no issues with it. It was easy to set up. The instructions were easy to follow.i find it worth the money spent

Great Product! Love the different settings for colors of both the decor glass (plastic) pieces and the flames. Also, the heater function works fantastic. Had a little issue with the delivery but the customer support was very fast and responsive!!

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace is very esthetically pleasing. I love the color blue so this fit the bill. Haven't tested the heating but can't imagine will use much in Central Florida.Remote makes it easy to change speed, color but the flames and the rocks. At first I wish it had a log instead of the rocks. Now I wouldn't have it any other way.Instructions are kind of vague. Took me awhile to understand how to remove the glass.To make it easier for others. Remove the one screw with the arrow. The slide up on the glass. It has to slots in the glass you can grab it by.The rocks are more than it holds almost. Be patient when placing them. Be sure not to put fingerprints on glass. Wear some soft gloves while doing this. Will save you cleaning later.We will see how it lasts hopefully my next update is how much I still love it.

I installed it in our master bath. Looks great! Heats up the room very well. Beautiful!
