This one is easy to use. It doesn't have a strong smell compared to other brands I've tried. It takes about 25 minutes once it's in to work for a first or infrequent time. That's a few minutes less than average. I had 30 and 35 minute wait times with prior brands.It covers greys reasonably well. For me, since I have very dark hair, the greys show up a lighter red than the rest. It's important to remember to get the temples and under the hair, not just the top layer, especially in front. That was the hardest learning curve for me. It does not seep down. Lather it like shampoo and you should be fine.It lasts a good long time. I only need to redo when my hair grows out. The color doesn't fade.It doesn't stain the tub, which was a problem with other brands. It's very easy to clean if it gets on some not fabric item it shouldn't.

I haven't colored my own hair in a long time, but the trips to the beauty salon were getting quite expensive so I thought I would try this product out. I have always loved L'Oreal and they did not disappoint! I love the new gel formula, especially because I am not the most talented when it comes to beauty products. They also are very generous with the product. I have very long thick curly hair, and used two boxes, but I almost didn't need to. Very impressed with the ease of use, and the results made me quite happy.

I had always used the Preference in the past and it had a very nice smell to it. I couldn't find it so I went to a different red color still by Loreal. I once again found this one that I had liked so much. The color is great and doesn't come off on my towels when I wash my hair. But the smell is horrific. I really couldn't breathe and I couldn't get away from it. I had to go outside to finish putting this on my hair. I will try it again as I do love the color and I have 3 more boxes of it. But if the smell is as horrific as it was the last time I won't be buying any more.

I’ve used this brand and shade for years! It performs consistently. I leave it on my roots for nearly an hour, the only way my resistant grays are guaranteed to be covered. Don’t care what directions advise for length of time. It’s always worked tor me. If you cover your hair in the sun, and use a bit of dry shampoo to avoid too frequent shampooing, it does not fade. I only re-apply when my gray begins to show. I do touch up with dark auburn powder, until I require a touch up. Leaves my hair very nicely conditioned.

I have used this permanent hair color product for years and can honestly say, it is the best. My natural hair color is white. The dark auburn shade turns out exactly as shown on the box and I receive many compliments about my hair color. It comes with a Shine Protection Conditioner which helps keep the color vibrancy. This conditioner should be used once a week for high impact shine. It has a pleasant floral fragrance.

Thank goodness L'Oréal have brought my colour back.. so good for my hair, decent amount of lush conditioner. Love it.. beautiful colour, well recommended
