Real grass!
This is a fantastic solution for our Kab puppy! It was shipped and received within one day and completely fresh. It is beautiful thick quality real grass on a hard damp compressed peat like material. My lab took to it immediately after I sprayed a little potty here stuff. It's a lifesaver at 3 am as we no longer have to walk him all over the back yard! It is on day seven and still looks as fresh as day one. I do shower it every other day and have it in a plastic tray. Great product I'm hoping it will last a month. I'll be doing the subscription as soon as I know how often to order.

Game Changer
This has been so helpful. I live in an apartment, and though my puppy initially was hesitant to use it but then one stormy day, is when it all changed. He didn't have any option but to use it. This has been a life changer and budget friendly and eco friendly too. I was going through so many pee pads that it's not even funny. Definitely recommend it to all dog owners especially if you live in an apartment second floor and up. Total game changer. You will love it!!!

Floor Saver
I work long night shifts, this has improved mine and my dog’s life so much. At first she thought it was a weird dog bed that I got for her, once she figured out what it was she started using it for its intended purpose. Saves me a mess and gives her a place she knows she can go.

Lifesaver, SUPER convenient, but expensive and short lifespan.
This is a great idea. Living on an upper floor of an apartment building, and snow/temps in the 10's was causing a problem for my two small dogs. After reading the reviews, I bought a 24" square. It took quite a while to get delivered (8 days), but, it arrived in perfect shape. I was pleased to open the box and see a lush green chunk of sod. Note that these do not have soil on the bottom, but are grown hydroponically. This cuts down on the weight and the smell. Additionally, they ship it in an excellent wax-coated box that keeps liquids from soaking through. Why 3 stars? Well, it barely made it a week before it started browning. I've had it for 9 days now, and it's on its last leg. My dogs are 10 and 20 pounds, and they used it quite a bit, I will admit. I tried adding a little water, and always brought it in when the temps went below freezing at night. It started to get a bit of an odor - not urine/ammonia, but VERY earthy and damp smelling. Too much for inside use. Their website hints at 2, 4, even 6 weeks of use. I get how a perfect climate and a 3 pound dog using it once a day might make it 6 weeks, but I will most likely be pitching this at 2 weeks. They offer a magic spray on their website ($18!) that supposedly keeps it healthy and assists with breaking down the waste. Seems a little gimmicky to me, but I haven't tried it.All that said, yes, I will probably order another one. It's not cheap, but WOW is it nice to have this available at 2AM when it's 4 degrees out. I'm a little conflicted with using it, as it feels like the dogs are learning bad habits. Also, it's small enough that if you have a dog that needs to circle around 40X before they go, they often miss the grass. So, good product, albeit expensive, but for now it beats 20 elevator trips a day in freezing temps.

Quality is not consistent but customer service is great
I only docked a star because the quality is very inconsistent. One order will be great and last a while. The other will show up yellow or decaying and wet. Customer service is always willing to help though so that’s at least something.

It's good grass, I just wish my dog would use it.
It looks like grass, it feels like grass, it smells like grass, I water it and it grows like grass, but I can't get my dog to pee on it. Either because she absolutely doesn't want to pee in the house or because it doesn't have a soil smell. Either way, it's not a bad purchase since it's clearly thriving in the corner of our bedroom despite the insistence that you're supposed to change it every 4 weeks. I cut our 2x2 order into 2x1 sections and put it onto a shoe tray and water it and it's growing. My plan If my dog ever does pee on it, I'm gonna try to put it in the shower and run the shower head over it to flush the pee out to see if that will help sustain it longer; then I'll never have to buy another one again...though I will have to mow it.Edit: After 2 months it started to grow white mold. So definitely not something that will last forever even if you take care of it.

Very glad I found this!
This lasted a month, used it in my deck and even after a month no smell. It took a couple days of prodding to get my Cavapoo puppy to use it, I had had him for about 10 days before getting this and he was used to going in yard in an ex-pen; he did already understand what “go potty” meant from training him in the yard so he got what I wanted him to do. He tried to walk off of it several times without going when I knew he had to go, I would pick him up and put him back on a few times and tell him to go potty, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t; but after getting him to do it a few times and giving him lots of praise and a “high value” treat, he started going there no problem, I could just open the deck door and not even go out with him, he’d go and then come back in for his treat. This is awesome on bad weather days or for very late night/early morning. Getting him to do #2 obit has been more challenging but we’re getting there, sometimes he’ll do it no problem, sometimes he sits by deck stairs insisting I take him to yard.I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars bc of this issue (not necessarily the product’s fault, I realize) and bc of cost and bc of one other issue: about 10-15% of the time, he stands right near the edge so that the pee actually goes onto the edge of the box and partially onto the deck. I’ve just been wiping it up so far, I have been meaning to figure out some other solution, it would be great if the company could come up with some sort of design to minimize this. Even when I have to occasionally wipe up a little, this is way better than going out in a muddy yard in the middle of a storm or having to venture outside 8 times a day (he’s a puppy and sometimes it’s that often) on an especially cold winter day.
