Works!
I have used ~5 of these connectors for the various light strips (Govee) I have. All work as they should! No problems with connection. Install is easy (just get the right size). Govee lights this works with: https://a.co/d/5qzZYcz

Worked to connect strands of K5 LED Strip Lights
My son got LED lights for his room for Christmas and due to his excitement I went against my better judgement and hung them before measuring. Needless to say, we were short by about 15’. I ordered these connectors and was very concerned that having to cut the light strands I would be ruining his lights and the connections wouldn’t work. I definitely advise trying these before sticking lights to the wall, it will be much easier! After the first try, and a lot of adjusting I the lights after the connection did not work properly. They either didn’t light up, his remote stopped controlling all the lights, only certain colors/functions worked or the lights were different colors between the two strands. I poured through the reviews and gave myself a break because I was very annoyed and tried again. This time I used a new connector, tried lifting the prongs only enough to slide the lights in and made sure to line everything up perfectly. Bingo! Lights all work, are the same color and no change between strands! The second time I also had two separate strands that connected to the wall instead of one long stand which may have been the reason for the success also. I would recommend these if you don’t mind figuring them out and as long as you aren’t adding too much length to your first strand.

Brilliant piece of simple tech to connect your led strips
Simple? yes. Easy? No. You will need patience and a delicate hand in some cases to make this work. If you are working with exposed contact standard LED strip lights, you will find these pretty straight forward and easy to use. The only tweak you may need is a little lift of the contact pressure points in the adapter to lift them above the strip you are inserting. The real challenge comes in using the adapter with waterproof strip lights. For this, you will need a very sharp knife - I used a scalpel blade to cut through the epoxy just to the plastic strip, and then used the scalpel to peel back the few milometers of goop to expose the contacts properly. I then used the scalpel to scrape the adhesive from the back of the LED strip to thin it out. Once both were complete, it was just like a standard strip for the adapter. The good news is if you screw up your only penalty is you have to cut a few more inches of strip back and then try again. All in all, a little pricey for what it is, but it's the only simple solderless solution I found. And now I have a bunch extra - as will you!

Difficult to open but they work
These connectors are difficult to pry open and the pick that comes with it is useless. I was able to open them using a micro screwdriver but even with that it was tricky to open without breaking the tab that holds the connectors closed. Once they're opened inserting the LED wire is tricky as well so my advice is to have the LED lights turned on when connecting the wire to the connector as you're likely to find that they're not working after you close the connectors. Having the LED lights turned ON will allow you to see if you have a good connection. Don't worry these are low voltage. The instruction is not very useful so here are the steps I took to connect the wires: 1. Once the connectors are opened, the trick is to lift the 4 metal silver wires inside the connector so that the LED wire strip can be tucked under them to have tight connections. I used a flat micro screwdriver to lift the metal wires but do it gently to prevent breaking them. 2. Tuck the LED wire underneath the 4 wires inside the connector and then close the connector tab. There's a channel in the connector where you can slide the LED wire. 3. Shut the connector tightly and make sure the tab on the connector snaps closed. This step will push the lifted metal wires down for tight connection. 4. Do the same to the other end of the connector with the LED wire strip that you're connecting. I wish I could take a video but I don't have a tripod. Good luck!

Doesn't work
I would give zero starts. These did not work. I had power to the strip I was trying to connect, once these connectors were attached.....no power to the connected strip. Checked the connection, checked to see if it was lined up correctly, tried another connector.......same result.

Works Well with Govee Lights
I read a lot of the mixed reviews nervously trying to prepare myself for the battle with these connectors, but honestly I just popped the connectors open and slowly yet forcefully slid the strips into place on both sides until the copper part reached the pin and it worked great. One of the strips has a gel over it so I used the connector to kind of cut that gel off while getting the pin to connect to the flat part. Maybe the Govee lights that I’m using are just a really good fit for these connectors because it was a simple two minute process. It is a tight fit so I did leave the backing on the two strips so that it wouldn’t be sticky and difficult to move the strips forward onto the pins. My only mistake was not cutting some of the backing off before putting them in because once I had them positioned, connected and closed - I started picking at back of the strips to get the tape exposed which seemed to started pulling one of the strips off the pins. I kept the lights on so that I could see how they were responding to my movements and the strip being connected kept flickering as I was trying to pick at the backing. So I reopened the connector, cut some of the backing off and then repositioned the light strip back on the pins. That was honestly my fault for not thinking ahead and cutting some of the backing beforehand. I guess the main takeaway there is that they probably aren’t going to stay perfectly positioned in the connector if you’re fiddling with the strip which could cause the lights to disconnect. I stuck it to my desk as soon as I got the backing off and it works beautifully.

Very simple to use, I didn't have any issues popping the clasps open. Took me about 30 seconds to extend my strip light for the extra 2 feet needed. I just scraped about 4mm of the real adhesive away from the strip light so the 4 copper contacts slip under the 4 prongs easily. Nice secure fit, very discreetly extends the lights. Bonus is I have 9 other clips so used one of the others to put together the second set of strip lights I had to purchase for the extra 2 feet. No issues whatsoever, if you're extending strip lights, make sure they are the same brand. I used Tp link (Tapo) smart wifi lights
