Innovative Marine Micron Filter Sock 200 Micron - Desktop

Fits and works great on the Innovative Marine tank.

Pricey filter socks,but they do their job. Hard to turn inside out to clean, but can be done. Ordered extras to have on hand. I also have a fusion 20 with the socks and they are almost impossible to turn side out. However, I use a small portable washer I purchased off Amazon that does wonders cleaning all my socks. I also have a large tank that uses three socks, so once a week I change out all socks and throw them in the washer with a little bleach and air dry for two days.

The sock holder will hang inside the Evo filter box but the overflow slots allow water to flow right past (see photo). I solved this with a piece of modeling poly. Also the sock is about 3/4 of an inch short (see photo) I stuffed some filter floss in the gap to abate the flow and add detris filtration. I anm very happy with the results.

Did a great job and was a okay fit for a fluval evo 13.5 gallon chamber one mechanical filters. It wasn't a perfect fit but good and made the water much clearer and reduced pump maintenance.

These filters were smashed together! They also have stickers with glue that do not come off easily. Anyone with a reef tank is not going to be happy with glue residue in the tank! Seriously unhappy with this purchase

Awful, What I received was either third party or manufacturing changed within the past couple years. The other more recent reviews giving low marks are right. I have original IM sock filters that have the seam on the sides and bottom. Per my picture it can be seen that it is down the middle. I was hesitant to purchase because of the negative reviews but decided to anyways.I attached this filter sock to my tub faucet because of the negative reviews. I ran the tub for a while, first cold then warm/hot and again cold. I did this because I thought the negative reviews might have been out of some other frustration with the company, given the fact that this product seems to be/was very well reviewed.I was wrong, a couple minutes after I put it into my system I saw my fish trying to eat even though I had not put food in the tank. They were trying to eat all the particles this sock was spitting back out in the system.I pulled the sock out immediately and used a fine mesh net to try and get as much out as possible.
