You can just pop your 3/8-inch ratchet or a 32mm socket straight into it, and it breaks the seal effortlessly without any play or slipping. It makes the oil change process incredibly clean and fast. I wish my other vehicles used this style of filter housing setup. If you own a compatible Prius and prefer doing your own oil changes this tool is a must-have.
