There is nothing in the description stating that it needs to be wired to a ballast or needing a male plug on it at all. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed that I have to wait another week to get the parts that I need to even see if this damn thing works. Might update this review or just send it back.

Led grow lights
Kinda small for what I need it for... If I want to continue using it I will need to buy 4 more. But as it is, it isn't a bad light... Just too small for me.

plants love them
It works great off of a very small system. The tomatoes are growing great. The wires are not our standard colors but once you figure out the colors it is easy to install. I am using a 2 12 volt battery system with solar panels for the charging. I am planning on buying 2 more led panels for my greenhouse.

Delivered timely and well packaged. Wow, bright, right colors. I have not put them to use as of yet, but they look more that adequate for my plans. I an anxious to put them to work.

Not worth it
Realistically the only things that these lights could grow is seedlings. In my opinion you would be better off buying actual top of the line led grow lights if you want to grow anything past a seedling you're just sort of wasting money if you buy these

don't buy it.it doesn't come with power adapter--wish it specify that in the description.it doesn't work right out of the box. I hooked it up to my adjustable ac-dc power supply.and it still doesn't work.

off grid gardeners rejoice!
I read the previous reviews and wondered why are they confused? Literally a 12 volt light is a 12 volt light. That said my lettuce seedlings are doing great and looking forward to more veggies, off the grid has been challenging not to mention the power consumtion of a/c adapted grow lights now with this light growing seedlings fast enough for the sometimes non existant seasons in Arizona will be easier.
