Lakewood Cedar Wood Swing Set with Wave Slide, Clubhouse, Playhouse, Snack Bar Window, Picnic Area, Belt Swings, Trapeze, Full Front Door, Windows, Step Ladder, Outdoor Playset

Bought this for my little girl’s (8 yo) Christmas present. It took me a while (3 days) to assemble by myself but not difficult. Also, one of the poles cracked while inserting screws but called and got a replacement within couple of days hassle free. Recommend 2 persons to assemble or calling the company to have them assemble for you. Otherwise a good buy and sturdy for the kids to play on.

Awesome playset! Very sturdy! I have 2 young boys who destroy everything in site and this playset is built to withstand them. Amazing! The only thing that was different then it said was the building time. The instructions said it would take 2 people 5 hours to build. It took my husband 15hours. No predrilled holes so you need to be somewhat skilled to know what to do. Otherwise our family is so so happy with this christmas purchase! One year after purchase, the playset started to fall apart because of the Arizona sun.

Built by myself overall product was good and as expected. Lots of work lots a parts. Recommend 2 people. However i did have a bowed board that i knew would come back to haunt me later when a few pre drill holes wouldnt line up. I fixed that myself with wood i had on hand. Im pretty sure i could have requested a replacement but im inpatient and wanted it done that day. Overall im very happy with this purchase minus the one bad board

The wood used for this play structure is inadequate and subpar. Pictured above is just 1 of the many pieces that came broken. It was the first one I found, so I thought I would take a picture and see if I could get it replaced. I didn’t realize how many of the boards would be cracked or broken. I didn’t have enough time to take other pictures…I was too angry about the situation. (Unfortunately, to put everything back together and return it would be pretty impossible). Every 3rd pice of wood is either cracked or broken completely through, as seen in the pictures. No matter how gently you try to put in the screws or bolts, the possibility of cracking the pieces that aren’t cracked when you receive the box is very high. On the bottom of the structure under the counter where the bench is, there aren’t enough slats that are supposed to create a wall, or they are too small. I have a 3/4 in space due to the inadequate materials, and because it is supposed to replicate a tongue & groove look, you can’t space them out enough to compensate for the gap. Also, there is almost a 1/2 inch gap on the wall on the upper deck…I may be able to fill it with caulk or something, but I shouldn’t have to!!! Although I haven’t installed the door (as it isn’t put in until later according to the picture directions) when I put it in the place where it is supposed to be, there is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap between the door and the door facing. ( My husband will help me engineer another door facing to make up the difference). I’m not even done putting it together and my husband and I have had to create new pieces for wood pieces that couldn’t be glued because they were structural. The ones that were broken but not structural, I glued together…again, shouldn’t have to do this! The instructions…. You have to use your imagination quite a bit and understand a little about putting things together because the pictures (not word instructions) are not clear. There is quite a bit of room for error. I haven’t started on the slide yet, but it is not a solid piece as it looks on the picture. There are 3 pieces: the two side plastic pieces (they look sturdy enough), but the piece of flexible plastic that is the actual slide looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen!!! This flimsy piece of plastic is supposed to attach to the 2 side panels, and it is supposed to be sturdy enough for a kid to slide down? (I’ll update this review when I finish the project) Overall, I am not happy about this product. When it’s done, maybe I’ll at least be comfortable enough with the numerous “fixes” that we had to make so that the structure was in one piece. My biggest concern is whether or not it will be structurally sound for my grandchild to play on! Secondary is whether or not it will last any amount of time…and I am doubtful about the age range that the company touts this is directly from the manufacturer about the play set “Tested and Certified All of our swing sets are certified to meet and exceed ASTM standards. We test our performance for kids up to 12-years-old, going above and beyond industry standards.” It also states on the item description that there is a 5 year warranty, but I can’t find anything in the paperwork about how to get in touch if something happens. It is definitely not worth the price!!! We shall see…

Initially excited about the playset and loved the look. However, 5 years later several pieces have fallen apart and are continuing to come apart in pieces. The wood has become soft and it is no longer safe. Should have lasted longer than 5 years.

Great set. Took me about 8 hours to assemble by myself. ( I work as a carpenter and have all the tools) Lots of pieces but good quality

Our 3.5 year old LOVES it! Best summer purchase ever, easy instructions to follow to build and very sturdy. Endless screen free play. Love that it has the little tree house area, she will play in there for HOURS.

I would say this play set runs small. Not what I was expecting at all. When I received this product there were over 20 boards that were split even some load baring. It came in three packages and when I called about the first stuff for replacements the third package was still to arrive. We heard it took a long time to assemble ( it took two ppl about one full day loud half another) so we started where we could to help the process along. As we were assembling out of the last box we received ( in this box we received new boards that were not split, but the one load baring board was not stained), even more split boards! and when we assembled so many of this poor quality wood split in us! So I called yet again for replacement prices the lady got a bit snippy with me saying now we damand pictures because we have sent you over 20 boards to replace, I replied well if the quality of your product was better I would not be calling in the first place! She did not believe me that they would send a pice out not stained so I replied I guess the proof will be In the picture that I’m not lying! Not a good quality for your dollar!! I’m not sure on how stable it is because my weight baring board was split down the middle! I’ll post pictures as proof on here also!

Once completed it is excellent , grandkids love it, but do not underestimate how long it will take to build, preparation is key, hint lay out parts page by page and sort out screws, bolts and label them (you will have some left over)

Très mauvaise qualité. Dès la première ouverture, l’une des portes s’est complètement démontée. Les différentes pièces en bois ne sont maintenues entre elles que par quelques agrafes, sans véritable assemblage solide. C’est extrêmement fragile et surtout dangereux. Si cela se produit pendant qu’un enfant joue avec, il risque de se blesser. Je suis très déçu(e) de la qualité et je ne recommande pas ce produit.

Très satisfait de notre achat! Duré d’assemblage de 5h30 à deux personnes comme indiqué. Facile d’assemblage et instruction bien expliqué. Prendre le temps de bien s’installer avec les vis et le tour est jouer!

C’est neuf ! Percer à des places ou sa deuvrait pas ! Pleins de planches fendus ! Au prix qu’il est franchement déçus ! C’est comme avoir acheter usager.
